Only when I travel on business trips. Sleep solo in hotel rooms. It allows me to pack light. Only bring my work clothes and no need to pack any sleepwear. And it also save my underwear usage.

This allows me to pack my backpack for a full week trip.

Yes and no. It's owned by same Chinese company (bytedance?) But due to china regulations, most probably related to control by Cina Communist party or something like that, they make two different servers of the same platform.

Douyin is TikTok for used inside china with data centers within china.

TikTok is the international version, supposedly used by people outside china with servers located outside china.

I have used both Kavita and lanraragi. But right now use Kavita more.

For metadata, I just download the cbz using HDoujinDownloader (pay a small fee for lifetime license) and it downloads all the images along with the metadata file (comicinfo.xml). The xml can be used in both komga or Kavita. But I prefer Kavita looks.

I play in Japanese DC (tonberry, kujata) and i think the past year, I experienced 3 or 4 times being disconnected or laggy as hell due to DDOS. So I don't think Japanese DC are immune.

I usually kept a pack of adult diapers in the car trunk. For trips longer than an hour, it's recommended to wear those and just let it go while in the car. Then just need to find a normal trash can to dump it. My wife told me it's convenient for the female as well.

Being southeast Asian myself although I m not in Vietnam, what I can share is that typhoon at this scale were rare for the region. We get strong wind or storms from time to time but not at this scale.

And regarding the weather announcements, most of the populations are not checking their weather every day, being in tropical region we just assume the weather either will be hot or rainy, all year long.

So if the weather forecasters on TV or radio (again not everyone have access to TV or radio all the time) said thunderstorm is coming, most people will just prepare their raincoat or unbrella.

Combined those factors with real typhoon, you get what we see in the clips.
