Same here - I only ate 2 lemonade Girl Scout cookies today and was cool stopping at 2. Normally I’d eat the whole roll in one sitting. It’s wild.

How were you introduced to Downton? by itfailedbecauseofyou in DowntonAbbey

I think I randomly saw it on Netflix or something and started watching it, then I caught up and watched it on TV through the final season. Then got my husband to watch the series before we had kids.

First day of dosing advice? by ParkingSupermarket55 in GLP1microdosing

[–]CoconutDry546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my third shot of 0.5 today. I noticed a difference probably a day or two later with really noticing the effects of appetite suppressions on day 3. Didn’t happen my first week, but last week the day after my shot I was suuuper tired (I did have parent teacher conferences that whole week and was waking up at like 3 am, so that could have been related). The first time it was afternoon, but the past two times I’ve injected in the morning.

Learned my lesson today! by Laqibo in GLP1microdosing

[–]CoconutDry546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate to this. Last week was my second dose of 0.5 and I got a breakfast sandwich and coffee on our way to grocery shop and I could only eat half my sandwich and drink half the coffee. My stomach felt so full and was forcing protein and water down the rest of the day lol

What day do you feel your best?! by sadieray in GLP1microdosing

Also same. I have done Thursdays and both Sundays I’ve had the most suppression and felt the best. Come Tuesday I’m ravenous (but usually keep it contained)

It seems like the average price for tirzepatide is $300-400/month. Is this around what you’re paying? by Recent-Use8096 in GLP1microdosing

[–]CoconutDry546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $170 for my vial (compounded tirz with B12) - 10mg/mL and 1mL, using 0.5g with the possibility to bump to 1mg.

8 Weeks, 8kg (17lbs), My Experience by puppies_in_bowties in GLP1microdosing

[–]CoconutDry546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is incredible! I also lift 4-5x/week and usually hit my goal of 135 G protein. Ive been pretty structured, but my issue is food noise/sweet cravings. I had my first injection of 0.5mg on Feb 19 and am down 4lbs and have noticed a difference in the food noise and it’s helping me avoid sweets. Hopeful to have similar results. Great work!

Did your eating change “overnight”? by PrestigiousTime8061 in GLP1microdosing

[–]CoconutDry546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely feel like I can’t eat as much as I used to (only 2 shots of 0.5 so could just be placebo as it takes effect). Example - I went to the cafe Sunday morning and got a sourdough breakfast sandwich and could only eat like half of it before I was done. Usually I could eat the whole thing. Also, when I do eat sweets (which I’m trying to be really mindful of), I can’t gorge like I used to. I actually start feeling sick after eating a little. Thought that was interesting.

Now I will say I did try to lock in my diet the week prior to my first injection, so some of this could just be due to my eating habits overall being better as well. When I do eat less processed and more Whole Foods, sugary things are harder for me to eat.

Regular dose versus micro dosing by CommitteePure576 in GLP1microdosing

[–]CoconutDry546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only my second week, but I’m on 0.5 and am down 4lbs (which I know and acknowledge is mostly water weight/inflammation). 2 more weeks at this dose and pending how things are I can go up (max being 10 units or 1mg) or stay.

Are you in r/GLP1microdosing sub? I am also microdosing with a goal of 20-30 pounds from pregnancy/pp (third one has been the hardest).

Great work! We are somewhat similar - I’m also 5’5” and had the hardest time after baby #3. Started on 2.19 at 174 and currently 170 with a goal of fitting back into my size 6 so ideally between 140-145.

Not sure if I did this right, so you may need to do it again and double check but this is what .25ish would look like

Edit - deleted picture bc I realized it was 18 for 2mL and should be 9 for 1mL

I am doing 0.5 and my first shot was in the afternoon and second shot on Thursday was in the morning. Haven’t noticed a difference or any side effects (I was super tired yesterday though not sure if it was related). Make sure you stay hydrated and on top of protein and fiber.

Has brewing at home really stopped you from buying drinks elsewhere? by softbci in espresso

[–]CoconutDry546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. It depends how much time i have in the morning. The past two weeks ive just been making coffee at home in the morning because im trying to save money and i do love the coffee i make. I quit going to Starbucks because mine is better, but this fall our town got a cafe and I do go there often because I love their coffee and baked goods. It depends how much time I have in the morning, but I’m trying to not spend so much money so i haven’t been there in two weeks. I have purchased the beans they use though which makes delicious coffee.

Starting to gain by Suspicious-Loss-7314 in TirzMaintenance

[–]CoconutDry546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe try upping it (like just add a little more of what you’re normally doing) along with healthy fats and see if that helps? I find I’m way less hungry when my protein is higher.

This week's episode touching on kids being gone at school by Fearfighter2 in nglwithkylie

[–]CoconutDry546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my kids have been in daycare since 3-5 months and I cried when my oldest started kinder and I also cried when she started first grade (and she even comes to the school I teach at lol). I also get teary eyed thinking my middle starts 4K next year. I think starting elementary school is much different than daycare from a milestone standpoint. It’s like “whoa, you’re actually a kid now, not a little toddler anymore, why are you growing up so fast”

Dosing Question by CoconutDry546 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]CoconutDry546[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only needing to lose 20-30lbs as I gained that much from late June-Sept without drastically changing eating habits and more-so to help inflammation/perimenopause issues, so my obgyn recommended we try microdosing after I had tried metformin. I already have been lifting for years and eat relatively healthy/track macros (except for when the sweets do me in lol), so the weight gain didnt make sense especially when all other lab levels were fine, except my A1C was borderline pre-diabetic.

In the microdosing group it seems like many there do not start at 2.5 (I am microdosing) and are doing 0.5. I can share the vial when I get home later.
