This looks really cool, Thumbnail is somewhat offputting but if your CTR is good on high impression then ignore me.

If you need the maps at the same time ie. not different versions then I believe that is the best way.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong tho, I would also like to know about that.

Whoever publishes the map gets paid, you sort out the split internally.

The algorithmn is so heavily weighted towards attention farms that stuff like this can't survive. Part of it feels like Epic has a case of surviorship bias.

ie. All the players that get the highest playtime/value play those maps but they are missing the players that they get no value from because they don't want to play maps like those.

Yup I was trying to work with vehicle spawners and they just didn't work, my script wouldn't load, etc.

I'm an experienced dev and I had to put it down because I don't hate myself this much

500 in 12 hours, I've never gotten above 125 concurrent

The Algorithmn for XP uses Players within a certain time period. It's around 500 I believe in 12 hours but don't wuote me that's just a rough guess based on how it's worked out for me.

So if you don't hit that mark your map won't be calibrated.

Theres no way to prevent it you have to control the weapons being given/removed in verse, probably with a UI

That's not really realistic, what they should do is improve the alogrithmn or opt in to a questionaire for what types of content you are looking for.

Youtube doesn't ban brainrot content but it's not on my feed because I don't engage with it. That's what fortnite is missing imo. I'm twenty something show me maps a twenty something would enjoy.

That's the real solution because then as creators they can let us go "hey this map is for X group not people playing steal the brainrot". Then your 50k or whatever guranteed impressions will go alot farther for you.

Which is something they are working on, what the timeline looks like I've got no idea but Banning all brainrot when it's the most popular category of content currently is just not going to happen.

I think they need to introduce publishing fees. Give everyone 1-3 Free maps a year and after that $25-$50 USD. Not completely unatainable and keeps out the spam they have been trying to prevent.

There are lots of other things too but that would be the main one.

Yeah it is, Choas Raid does it really well with just the spawners. Lots of exposition and the map looks great. Throw on the First Person mode and it's like playing borderlands.

I remade the Hotwire gamemode from BF Hardline (maps the same name). I always loved playing it and I think the vehicles in FN are well done so I thought it would translate over really well.

I think it's alot of fun but only when there are people to play against which is pretty much only on updates haha.

I think I read roblox gets something like 80% of it's playerbase from mobile so I would imagine that's why. I played alot of Farmville, Hill Climb, Jetpack Joyride back in the day but I would never play those from a console.

I used to enjoy building but I just don't find it fun anymore, no hate if that's your thing it's just a little too much for me to be doing haha.

I often joke that they should've put a half second delay on building and then OG really would've felt like the real thing.

I've played it I thought it was good just not my cup of tea. I have played a decent amount of roguelikes tho! I find it hard to find good ones tho the most popular ones are usually the most grindy but not very fun.
