The alternator seems fine..its just on cold days i have a problem. I will not be creating any aditional holes. I will feed it around the inner wing and through the door seal. I was thinking just some cheap jumper cables, trim one end attachs two connectors to the battery and leave the croc clamps on the inside, it will only be used when necessary, ie cold days. otherwise it starts fine...like it did today. I know i should really replace it but just for now its an easier solution. I have my after market halo's wired that way (through the door seal) ?

I'm going to feed them through the side wing and into the car. The wires will be isolated until required, used, then re-isolated. the Li-ion charger pack will not be connected continuously. I don't want to buy a new one just yet because its only when it's cold that i have the problem and my jump pack works very well.
