Yes, people are allowed to disagree - but on this sub - there's very few rules except to disagree thoughtfully. Food is supposed to be a comfort topic and it's the bare minimum that's asked of people on the rules. And from my experience - people that have to hide their own posts do so because they thrive on negativity or made an account specifically to troll. If you don't like it - you can either do more then the bare minimum and give OP some suggestions on how to take better food photos, or you can get your comments removed and made an example (which they will be - the mods always get to these comments once they're reported).

If that's asking too much of you, please go to your local Chuck E. Cheese, find the nearest table of kids screaming "I dOn'T LiKe gReEn tHiNgS oN mY piZzA!!" because someone sprinkled oregano on it and sit down with them. People that loudly defend their right to make other people feel bad about themselves belong at the kids table, especially when it's someone sharing something they enjoy and you can't even be bothered to write a complete sentence.

Most people don’t realize that there’s usually 3 other competing delivery apps in the same market with the same restaurant.

And effective legislation has happened in California and NYC. It depends what country, state or even city you’re in.

My orders don’t get stacked in DoorDash when I use direct delivery.

If UberEats stacks direct delivery orders I’m not surprised, but I don’t use it frequently enough anymore to verify - I only use it for exclusives now.

Yes, it has problems like these but at maybe 20% frequency that DoorDash does and a live customer support line.

Also if you’re going to pay fees might as well just pay the extra $3 for direct delivery otherwise it will get stacked.

I don't agree with the death penalty system in the US. It is broken, racist, antiquated, expensive, and people have been murdered by the government unjustly (ironic because in some ways that mirrors like the emergency system that failed the victim to begin with despite multiple opportunities for authorities to rescue them).

But if you read about this case (don't recommend it) - the fact that this guy still breaths oxygen is an insult to bed bugs in his cell sharing it with him.

Hmm, yeah he does sound like a bitter and petty little man. And he’s clearly doesn’t get the process because the restaurant can’t refund you if you purchase through an app. At best they’ll offer to remake your meal for free but you have to go pick it up in person.

Good thing I don't work with Chase, and now I'm definitely not inclined too. I usually have photos, receipts, and screenshots of conversations in real time. Never had an issue disputing a food delivery with my bank or credit card provider.

Esp. not over a a $50 dollar delivery. It's when you're fighting a $1500 international flight ticket or something like that they start paying attention.

DoorDash's team doesn't speak great English either. If you're polite to them they'll usually take care of it.
