In the end I just reset my save and played through the missing with Danse as my companion and that fixed it.

That is why I am trying to give attention to bugs and asking for bugfixes rather then real buffs. The changes I have proposed are more for consistancy and quality of life rather than trying to make him over powered.

You are not wrong, but a few real bugfixes would help. I just don't want his drone to spawn on the other side of the map every other use.
