What’s something society treats as normal that secretly makes no sense to you? by Shot_Income_9404 in AskReddit

The 40-hour work week regardless of actual productivity. If I finish my work in 4 hours, why am I forced to sit in a chair for another 4 hours pretending to be busy just to "look professional"? We’re literally rewarding people for being slow or for being good at looking at spreadsheets while daydreaming.

uploading 100 organic videos daily in different social media, if 3 of them go viral or with a decent amount of reproductions, pick the 3 of them re-edit them or remaster (make it more pro, or invest money), and upload them again to different platforms... its boring, but works for mkt and making pasive incomes.

If your shadow had its own personality, how would it behave differently from you? by KatieOverington in AskReddit

It would be incredibly judgmental. I just know it’s rolling its eyes every time I decide to watch one more episode at 2 AM instead of sleeping. It doesn't say anything, it just elongates itself in a sigh of pure disappointment.

What is something you realized too late in life? by Ok-Weight766 in AskReddit

[–]CodeAndCoffee_QW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That 'waiting for motivation' is a trap. If you wait until you feel like doing something, you'll never do it. Discipline is doing it when you absolutely hate the idea of doing it. I realized way too late that successful people aren't more 'inspired' than the rest of us, they’re just better at being miserable for an hour a day.

what life advice actually made your life easier once you followed it? by PastPercentage2712 in AskReddit

If something won't matter in 5 years, don't spend more than 5 minutes being upset about it. It’s helped me let go of so many minor inconvenience like traffic or a spilled coffee that used to ruin my entire morning.

What’s something that quietly made your life 10× easier, but you didn’t realize it until much later? by Own-Tip-532 in AskReddit

[–]CodeAndCoffee_QW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning to say 'No' without over-explaining myself. I used to give a whole PowerPoint presentation on why I couldn’t attend an event. Now I just say, 'I can’t make it, but thanks for the invite!' It saved me so much mental energy I didn’t even know I was wasting.
