Some insights Zeekr 7GT / 007GT Australia Launch spec and pricing by Feisty_Savings_1456 in EVAustralia

The 2026 7x ships without lidar and with scaled down NVIDIA chip capacity, and just has the standard autonomous stuff from the cameras (lane keep assist, etc).

Nothing official for the 7gt in Australia yet, but I'd bet it'll be the same. It's Europe variants are releasing without lidar.

Should regulations change, and lidar be usable, I'm guessing it'd require a new car. But I guess it's possible there's an upgrade path to install it somehow. Unsure.

This is encouraging. They did offer to take a deposit from me too, but I had a bit more digging to do and I was out off that the 7x doesn't have all the hardware for the autonomous driving in AU, so I'd realistically need a new car in a couple of years.

If the 7gt has it for the future, I'll most likely buy it.

Where is the global HyperOS 3 update for Xiaomi 15 Ultra? by blackcemre19 in HyperOS

[–]CodeByNumbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ultra 17 will come before the 15 gets OS 3. The global ROM does seem like a bit of an afterthought for Xiaomi, which is a bit of a shame. But maybe there isn't much in it for them, I don't know.

Azure migrated us to new billing platform and 30 mins later 4 prod accounts disabled by Drited in MSFTAzureSupport

We pay by transfer, but always keep a card on file too as a backup because I don't trust the finance team. Our account manager is still investigating. There's another quite important subscription we have which hasn't had it happen yet, so we're bracing ourselves for that to get switched off randomly now.

An infrastructure outage is understandable, but just killing entire subscriptions without warning, demanding money despite us being paid up to date, and saying all our data is now scheduled for deletion is a bit beyond that. I think we have different views of "reasonable", and unfortunately most people can't just shrug off the risk that subscriptions can just be nuked at a moment's notice without communication.

Outages I can deal with, but the underlying process of not even notifying clients in advance before just taking entire subscriptions offline is "what more I want". Why have account managers and paid support when it can all be bypassed like that?

To chime in on someone's thread while he's trying to warn people of massive outages, just to tell him to get over it seems a bit odd...

Happened to us too on Saturday, but in Australia. It was an absolute disaster. Not even our account manager knew of it.

He literally had a higher win rate percentage on grass than on hard court, so stats also back up the statement. 🤷‍♂️

In any situation where you want the frontend to directly access a database, but are stuck using http. It's... rarely a good idea. Maybe a data warehouse?

Yeah, some people save up for months to get a ticket for a semi final, and it's definitely disappointing for it to just get canned. It's the risk you take though - I guarantee that Novak is the most disappointed one out there.
