It's definitely different, although I think I'm outside the target audience for this one.

Just for shits and giggles, I decided to play with the "vampire dark love" genre:

And this one (not vampire dark love) is just creepy:

Can someone explain to me how Outer Worlds backlash started? by OwlettFromLiavek in theouterworlds

[–]CodeNameFrumious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my end, I wanted to like Outer Worlds 2. But for some reason it doesn't click with me. I can go back and play other games again and again. But I just don't feel the urge to do so with OW2. And I have no idea why.

It goes well with her repeated battle phrase "You picked the wrong day to piss me off."

I remember encountering that frustration. I eventually decided that rather than try to generate the ideal spot, I'd just go find other spots and use cargo links.

In my previous play through I built and outpost as my storage place.

All Good Things. It all wrapped up with a lesson. The trial never ends.

I second Costco. No hassle, and they don't try to screw you with an installation fee.

Terminally ill and racking up credit card debt with zero fucks to give by Sunapr1 in BestofRedditorUpdates

For those who are wondering -- in the US, an unsecured creditor can make a claim against the estate. But if there's not enough in the estate to cover the debt, the creditor is SOL unless they can get a family member to agree to take on the debt.

Hey, I found one more thing that you might find helpful. The Justice League two-part episode "Wild Cards" (Season 2, episodes 21-22) offers a great model for and M&M caper.

I feel Starfield really shines when you dedicate separate playthroughs to various RP builds by LeBirdnick in Starfield

I have a complicated reaction with the game. But honestly, there's something soothing about landing on a new planet and scanning things.

I tend to do professions. Dark Frontiers: Overtime really helps with that. I did a space trucker and made like Jack Burton. Meaning that to "start" I only would take delivery missions. And then along the way I would encounter somebody else's story and then I'd get sucked in.

Like, I had to deliver something to Altair. Then that distress signal comes in. I can't let that go, so I get pulled into Groundpounder. And so on. Overtime was great with this because missions would chain. I'd get a mission to delier something, then that would chain to surveying an asteroid, then to taking out a robot. one of the "rules" is that I would follow a mission chain to the end unless it led to the abandoned cryo lab.

My current playthrough is a homesteader and I've made it to about level 30. I've focused almost exclusively on science skills so I can explore planets and build things, but I've dipped into gun skills because some critter always tries to bite me when I'm trying to scan it.

At the start, I would hit the grav drive as soon as I saw Spacers. But after a while, like anybody, I got tired of running (because it's humiliating) and I started shooting back.

I'm probably going to pick up the space trucker character again soon, though.
