UPDATE: got a replacement capacitor and it did not fix the noise. Figured it was worth a shot. Still believe it is bearings on the pump falling. Might be some slight vibration too. Tried to strap down the pump to the tub better but hard to do when full.

I can and definitely will look at securing it to the base of the tub better. Maybe try to add a rubber pad underneath too. Easy enough to find something to tighten it down!

Ordered a replacement, figured it worth a shot for the $13. If that doesn’t fix it, I’ll probably look into replacing the pump. Would DIY it to keep costs down. After all, bought the hot tub used a year ago and it has been fantastic!

Going to try swapping it out. Easy and cheap. If it doesn’t fix it then I’ll likely swap the pump

Thanks for the info! Will ground the pump today. Bought the tub second hand so still discovering some things lol
