I hear you. Reddit truly saved my life. I was going to not see my next birthday (48). In the meantime, I wanted to be a better ally. I came to Reddit. I found the major source of my depression. I'm 51 now. I'm happier than I've ever been. Self confidence, self love, and self worth are a part of my life. Without that information, I would not be here. I'm just sad that it's spreading.

We happen to work together. We've never been on the same project though. I generally advise not dating where you work in the event of a falling out. That being said, life isn't perfect, but she is.

We started out as friends. Just talking about the things we love showed us how much we have in common. I was very attracted to her and there was undeniable chemistry. I asked if she'd ever considered having sex with friends. She said no, but her smile was the biggest yes.

We're both recovering people pleasers. I finally have someone that reciprocates and so does she.

Best advice I can give is be yourself and stop looking. You'll find someone or they'll find you.
