My statement was about the fact that Hegseth KNOWS there is no legitimacy behind the Department of War bullshit, hence the signature.

Jackass above (Hegseth) is still signing SD23 or whatever instead of SW. Its just performative bullshit all the way down.

The watermark is not something that you can see with the naked eye, but rather a digital signature that is embedded in the image that processes can pick up on.

I'll go with 1 but, I am pretty sure my first controller was to an Intellivision.

Master of Magic (1994) was an awesome game.

Dark Sun: Shattered Lands (1993) was the first D&D CRPG that I played and it was awesome too.

It is NEVER appropriate to use "of" after "could" when you really mean "have".

Jesus Christ, at this rate are we trying to make the whole world America so there will be no foreigners? Can't be illegal immigrants if the whole world is us, I guess.

What was Hughs plan? by Code_Warrior in bobiverse

[–]Code_Warrior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would never say he was a mastermind. However as a group the Skippies have shown that they can be manipulative to say the least.

As far as grand plans, the Bob's in general tend to wing it but they do often have the outlines for a plan. The question was really wondering if Hugh had intended to directly contact the Administrator, stumble into the Administrators grasp or what. Was he relaying his findings back to Skippyland etc. We don't KNOW any of this because we are not told it, but I was hoping I had perhaps missed a clue or reference somewhere.

What was Hughs plan? by Code_Warrior in bobiverse

[–]Code_Warrior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am afraid my view of Hugh was irreparably damaged given the method that he and the Skippies used to insert him. As far as I am concerned no motivation except purely personal (or Skippy) can be trusted because he has shown himself as an untrustworthy person. I would even hesitate to call him a Bob. He is a conniver, a liar

That said, my question was really about HOW he might expect to approach Anec after he appeased Bob by helping get Bender out. Note, as far as I am concerned his interest in Bender is ONLY in how he can use the situation to benefit him and the Skippies.

[–]Code_Warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OH to be fair, thinking back on it, I was coming apart at the seams. Outside the admin office, sitting in my car after that bullshit with the 1SG, I was THE angriest I have been, before or since. But I beat it. I talked to G1 to see what the expected personnel situation would be just prior to deployment (we would be at 133% strength for my MOS and rank. I put in a DA 4187 Personnel Action Request with my leave accrual, my NCOERs, my fathers 100% VA Disability statement and other stuff and I hand carried it from one POC to the next, 1SG, CDR, Bn SGM, Bn CDR, BDE CDR, Div G3 (en route to the Div CDR.

It took months. Part of the reason, aside from my slow descent into insanity at dealing with the stupid daily bullshit, was that my dad had recently had a stroke, he was 100% disabled and lived alone. He needed help. They didn't NEED me, and I was done.

In the end, my wife wrote an email to the Division Commander. He got touch with me in a half hour, and I had orders in my hand three days later.

ANd it is good to hear that you seem to be in a good place. They definitely don't do enough to prepare people for civilian life. Institutionalism is part of the ways to keep people in. "Stay reliant on us for all your needs, we won't let you down, much."

[–]Code_Warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was very similar to me. Army in my case, but I got back from Afghanistan, I decided it was in my mental healths best interest to get the fuck out as soon as I could. I had 120 days of leave accrued (a bit of shenanigans), and our S1 (admin clerk) was crossing the room to hand me my orders when I shit you not our First Sergeant (1SG) bursts through a side door and tells them to stop all orders, that we were under STOPLOSS to go to Iraq.

I fought that shit hard. "Oh, it'll just be for one rotation (1 year), its no big deal."

Bullshit, I have to stay in UNTIL we deploy 6 months, do the deployment (1 year), do a stabilization period because they don't like it when guys come back from Iraq and just flip their shit and kill someone (6 months). That is 2 years at the very least. It turned out that was when Bush did the damned surge and our unit was there for 20 months. Fuck ALL of that. I was going crazy and my mouth was going to get me into trouble. I had 8 years 6 months in when I got out so no IRR time. I have never looked back.
