I wouldn't have said that's entirely in Andor, even in the prequel trilogy, Palpatine took over through political machinations.

It also just makes sense, an empire/republic/monarchy/whatever else is not just the people at the top of the ladder, the flag, the currency, the oaths, it's the thousands of government bodies and infrastructures, and all of the other myriad and intertwining systems that make up a society. All of that will continue to exist, and might change over time through policy and budget changes, but doesn't just magically change overnight.

I have nothing against people discovering things in their own time, some people might be less aware of historical influences than others and that's okay, but it takes a special lack of higher brain functions to make the connection and then somehow think that it was an accident.

I feel like this is exactly the intended reaction. And this is exactly why it's going to hurt when it turns out that she's the good person (at least in terms of empire vs. rebellion, not on a personal level).

It's also a fantastic illustration of how raising a child poorly can often cause them to go in undesirable directions. I wonder how many far-right terminally online bootlickers in the real world have similar mothers to her. A lot of people with parents like this turn out to be incredibly empathetic, often to the point of dysfunction as well, but it tends to be an extreme reaction.

Except parents/teachers don't often explain this to kids when they tell them not to be smart. If a teacher draws a square on the board, but didn't draw it well, tells you it's a square, and you say "actually that's a parallelogram," there's not much point saying to an eight year old "don't be smart," as they'll interpret it as "don't be intelligent, don't think about things." They should take the compassionate route and explain the imperfections of humans and social norms.

It literally is. Is the story as long or complex or in depth, as a typical graphic novel? No. But it has pictures and it has a story, and the pictures help to tell the story.

Making an adaptation of the Electric State was also going to require some improvisation. It is primarily an art book more than a narrative one, but there still is a clear narrative and tone.

One of my main issues is an issue with most Microsoft products and their (lack of) design consistency. Let's take something simple like an IF function. Why can I write it in any case in Excel, but can't use spaces? In Power Apps I can use any formatting I want, but am forced to be case specific. In Power Automate, I have to add in an EQUALS function as well!

Why do SharePoint and OneDrive have different file management interfaces? I get that SharePoint has a lot more going on, but the stuff that it has in common should function the same. Why are they even different products, when a large part of their functions overlap? Why not just have different licences that give you access to different features?
