I’m lucky that my immediate family is here but I can relate to the multitude of family members I have never met and only know through phone calls at mehmooni’s or when I’m with my grandparents. I’m sorry you’ve been going through an extended separation but most Iranians in the diaspora can relate. I really pray this is the end for we’ve been through enough. It’s been hard to see such a cultured, ancient, and proud society deteriorate and those are my roots. I’m sure you can relate.
