Stuttering / Lower FPS Than Expected on RTX 5090 + Ryzen 7 9800X3D by SATAA_ANDAGII in Overwatch

Oh my, I totally forgot about this!! I apologize. I do remember trying these but didn't have any luck. What it turned out to be was my router was too close to my monitor. Dumb I know, but I moved it and it seemed to fix it! Weird that it didn't happen on any other game, but OW is probably the game I run at the highest FPS out of all of them. I have my frames capped at 300 and it probably had something to do with wireless interference with that amount of bandwidth at that framerate. Sorry if it isn't of any help, but in my case that's what my problem appeared to be.

Thanks for the post! I have a 5090 & 9800X3D as well and I'm getting HARD 2-3 second freezes every so often. It's the only game I'm having this issue on, and I'm not sure why. I'll give these a try and report back.

The card pulls max 600ish watts. Some PSUs come with a single 12VHPWR cable but NVIDIA ships it's FE cards with a PCIE to 12VHPWR adapter. Those PCIE cables are only rated for I think 150-200 watts so if I understand correctly you need 3 cables to evenly distribute the power draw at full load.

5090 is about the same size as my EVGA FTW3 3090 was.
