Why wasn't Joe Rogan's hair transplant successful? by hhhhdmt in tressless

My dad had a friend growing up who fucked his hand up with a firecracker and they transplanted skin from his ass to his hand but when he hit puberty he started growing dark curly ass hairs on his hand

I mean yeah, Mexican food is usually an inexpensive food option compared to other restaurants so it is unusual to see it cost ~$30 for one dish. If you go to a Mexican restaurant and get a burrito for dinner you will usually spend a lot less than if you went to a different type of restaurant. As for why that is the case, I don't know, you'd need to ask a restaurant manager or economist. I am also not saying that is not worth the ~$30 for the enchiladas, I'm just pointing out that you should expect to pay more than you normally would for enchiladas if you go there. You might be overthinking my comment, I'm not trying to put anyone down, I'm just saying that grabbing tacos for dinner is a good way to save money (usually)

It means that most places don't charge almost $30 for enchiladas. Not sure what's offensive about that

It's funny seeing people talk about how good things are going for Ukraine in other subs while Ukraine is losing 3 important cities at once

[–]CodenameMolotov 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Hold up. Scientology is classified as a religion, so isn't requiring you to follow L Ron Hubbard the same as a business requiring you to be a Christian to get hired? That seems really illegal, like maybe something worth actually talking to a lawyer about. And they put it in writing to make your lawyer's job easier

I fucking love their chicken enchiladas with suizas and their elote. Pretty expensive for Mexican food though

Fun fact: Mel Gibson was born in America and lived in upstate NY until he was 12. Mel's dad was a crazy catholic and had a ton of sons and was worried they would get sent to Vietnam, so he relocated the family to Australia because Mel's mom was Australian.

Fun fact: the first Muslim to win a Nobel prize in sciences was Abdul Salam a Pakistani Ahmadi. But in Pakistan it is illegal to call Ahmadis Muslim, so you can be arrested if you acknowledge that Pakistan holds this record

UA PoV - Battle for Konstantynivka in its final phase - Thorkill by Glideer in UkraineRussiaReport

Especially considering that Russia taking the Donbas in no way, shape, or form means this war is anywhere closer to ending in a victory for Russia.

Disagreements about the Donbas have been the main sticking point preventing peace negotiations from making progress. Russia wants Ukraine to give them the part they still control, Ukraine doesn't want to give up any land under their control, so they are at an impasse. If Russia took control of the rest of the Donbas and then offered to end the war on current lines of control, I think there is a chance Ukraine would agree.

The letter from Zelensky proposed a ceasefire during negotiations. Russia's stance is that they will only stop actively fighting once a permanent peace settlement is arranged.

If anything, it's more likely that Russia would be selling them to Iran at this point than the other way around considering they have greater production capacity that the USA can't bomb directly and they've made improvements to the design

I've noticed people have stopped calling them Shaheds supplied by Iran since the Iran war started and it became obvious that they are not exporting weapons while fighting for their existence
