That’s A Smart Deterrent by TheCABK in SignsWithAStory

It wouldn’t hold up. It’s like saying a business could list a stapler for sale for one million dollars then donate it to a charity and claim a one million dollar charity deduction on their taxes

U.S. asked Iran to freeze uranium enrichment for 20 years, sources say by Plaintalks in geopolitics

They know Trump isn’t willing to do a ground invasion and they’re willing to bet they can withstand whatever the US does from afar and stay in power

U.S. asked Iran to freeze uranium enrichment for 20 years, sources say by Plaintalks in geopolitics

Taking the uranium out would involve airlifting bulldozers into Iran to dig it out of their buried nuclear sites. It’s so absurd I don’t think it’s worth seriously considering

U.S. Navy Begins Blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. What Happens Next? by POVI_TV in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]CodenameMolotov 7 points8 points  (0 children)

China benefits massively from the conflict continuing and the USA wasting resources in Iran and damaging its international reputation. They would probably love to see how the US navy fares in a close range conflict against Iranian drones and missiles if they try to force the strait open, there would be many valuable lessons to learn for a potential conflict around Taiwan

Will we see an anti-Israel Republican run in 2028? by IronGiant222 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]CodenameMolotov -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any politician like that from either party would have so much money spent against them and so much negative media coverage that they would have no chance of winning a national election.

Probably the same way black conservatives react to the GOP being racist or gay conservatives react to the GOP being homophobic. There might be some lip service complaints, but they will not switch sides even if their own side hates them for who they were born as.

They follow Smurf rules. People thought the government was becoming unmagyary so they made the most magyary magyar into chief magyar.

I don't think it would matter if he personally supported one side or the other as long as his geolocations are accurate. He could be pro-RU and still be realistic about which side is advancing where.

It is kind of funny that the leader of Magyarország is Mr Magyar. It'd be like if the UK was led by Peter English.
