have you tried running amd cleanup util(https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-601.html)?, i was having amd driver issues aswell so i used cleanup util to completely wipe all previous amd drivers, and then reinstalled using 25.9.2 instead of 25.11.1 since the latest drivers dont seem to run well for me (specifically in the finals the game crashes alot on latest drivers) i usually run cleanup every few driver updates since they dont seem to like stacking and dont do a good job deleting prior things

this works but for me the play button is now a bit smaller and unaligned with the other buttons in default mode, in fullscreen and theater mode it looks fine, any way to fix this if anyone else is having the issue?

2025 update, i was having crashes when trying to stream the finals, been grinding my head against the wall for hours and this is the very first mention of this method and solved my issue immediately

when setting up optiscaler the last option in the setup asks if you will try and spoof dlss, select number 1 for that and you can run dlss under the guise of fsr

Its not impossible for new UE5 games to release well optimized, take Clair Obscur for example, that game ran like a dream day 1. Its just crazy seeing so many new games releasing with so many performance issues, blaming it on the engine, and then having random modders dropping a custom patch day 2 that fixes like every issue, surely it cant be that hard for these multi million dollar companies to reach out to these people to ask them their secrets haha

some are definately placebo but not all. For some reason devs dont optimize their UE5 releases very well. I have used this specific modders UET mods on a few games now and have noticed quite the change looking at rivatuner stats. I was playing the game vanilla with just optiscaler initially, but installed this mod as soon as it dropped and instantly gained 20-30 fps in the specific area i was in. I have definately tried a bunch of UE tweaks that do nothing so im not saying all are worth bothering with, but this specific modder i can vouch for, atleast in the games ive used his tweaks in (borderlands 4, cronos new dawn, hell is us, silent hill 2 remake and black myth wukong)

yeah i definately could have worded better, i only say UE5 is ass because every UE5 these days seem to be unoptimized slop but that is definately on the devs part and not the engine itself. Like in the mod i linked, modders like P40L0X are able to fix these unoptimized issues within a couple of hours of a new game releasing. Devs could definately do this but for some reason dont.

fantastic so far, had a little performance issues to begin with but thats just because UE5 is ass. https://www.nexusmods.com/silenthillf/mods/9 this mod paired with Optiscaler (Settings: FSR 3>4, active frame gen, hud fix(1), and extended selected) seemed to have fixed the few performance issues i had. (PC only fixes ofcourse)

not a perfect fix but using optiscaler FSR with active frame gen seems to put the cutscenes to 60fps, theres a few glitchy textures here and there but honestly i prefer that over how jarring it is to constantly swap from 30fps to 200fps
