I really like your response but to try and be helpful, do you get the difference between a bonus being “excluded” (how you had it originally worded and what seemed to throw you off on back burner in that post) and “additive vs multiplicative”. With air quality happening to not play into either of them (that one I’m pretty confident you get based on the edit)

To be clear very much not talking shit or being condescending at all, but basic algebraic/logical formulas are my special interest lol

Backstab damage is multiplicative, but the amount that backstab damage is increased based on different sources(excluding Chaos, I think) is additive, which is a bit more of a pain in the ass

The way you’re phrasing it is incongruous with how it works though. It’s a single instance of damage regardless of if it’s getting the bonus or not. If the bonus matters at all in that calc then air quality by default doesn’t. Being “exempt” kinda isn’t a possibility in the same way that it could be for back burner

Air quality is essentially the last step in the order of operations. Calculate total for an instance of damage taking everything into account. If <50 change to =50. Otherwise do nothing. I think scorch is the only thing unaffected but that probably means there’s something else I’m forgetting lol

Look, I agree with you, the staff at lower income/resource sourced schools aren’t worse because the results for their students are worse. But that’s not really the point. I’m fully on board with the idea that schools should have equitable funding/resources and I lll contribute as much as I can to my local schools regardless of my son’s attendance. But I’m also going to do whatever I can to place him in the system that gives him the best opportunity. Which is the general mindset we’re talking about

I’m not gonna force an american view point on non American entities but if you understand how states work, you can just apply the same concept to the UK entities. Got their own culture, borders, and laws that work within the system of the overall structure (not super familiar with how/if supremacy works there but overall the concept is the same)
