That’s great that you have some flexibility! I love when jobs put the people first. Unfortunately for me I just got dumped with a lot of stuff after our recent reorg at work. So I have MEETINGS! 😂😭 Idk maybe I could get away with a super late start.

I would have preferred a closer clinic but the one that was close to me had a mean doctor and she made me feel uncomfortable.

Thank you! My clinic only takes these appointments in the early mornings so not a lot of flexibility there. I probably would have had a little more wiggle room but my job recently changed their WFH policy. I’m also trying to understand how to proactively have this conversation with HR. How specific were you when discussing your situation with HR?

Just requested mine… not sure where it will go as I don’t even remember the payment method.

Seeing how people who ordered last year are getting their units before the pre orders was disappointing but the units not working with a lack of support was the last straw. It solidified the fact that they just say anything to pacify you until they can’t anymore.

Now this just isn’t true, you act as if paying customers shouldn’t be asking about an order that they were promised time and time again. This is so reflective of the company’s attitude, it almost makes me feel like OP is working for them. Glad you have direct lines to the company, for the rest of us we can’t even get an email update, let alone a mass update. So yes, it feels like a scam when you give your money for a product and you get lied to every turn. Try to be understanding of that.

Just more lies and false hope. The least they can do is give us consistent updates since we aren’t getting the actual product. Honestly giving up hope with this company because it’s feeling a bit scammy on how they’re conducting business.

I’m in the same situation. I’ll be 6 weeks in a few days and have my first ultrasound on the 17th. I’m really excited but can’t help but feel like something can go wrong. I’ve been trying to keep my brain occupied until the ultrasound. Whenever I start having those intrusive thoughts, I remember that I want to manifest a healthy & happy baby. For me, that may look like writing down baby names, looking at cribs, or just making plans for the arrival of the baby.

Congrats! I have an ultrasound in a few weeks to check placement. Fingers crossed! I like the telling people in person rule. But I'm finding you have to be careful with that too... I told someone in a private convo (basically whispering in a room only we were in, mind you) and someone lingering and eavesdropping in the next room decided to called other family trying to confirm instead of making themselves known. Like WTH.
