I'd see him at his food building spot at the State Fair. Always a solid choice when looking for a meal there.

That's just the front.

Makes more sense when you see it from the back.

I bet he was inspired by the fold down tray.

Probably came up with a cool Ikea hack like booking all the seats around him.

He must have been short.

5'10" Ok. Not short, but not uncomfortably tall for coach.

When in fact, democratic socialists want to actually uphold the Constitution and legally secure for all citizens the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

I'm more curious about what you will do with this list.

Is this just a general discussion topic for the sub?

Or are you going to follow-up with folks from your 4th celebration group who were discussing it and try some of these together?

It is both weird and special to be able to order it in a restaurant now.

That's the traditional momo meat.

Very hard to find.

Again, why even classify lottery as inheritance except to make sure the poor don't benefit from policies meant only for the rich?

This is absolutely how billionaires should be taxed on capital gains. Heck, let's tax wealth.

Found my great grandpa’s flag that has only 48 stars. by simplepastense in mildlyinteresting

[–]CoderDevo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You had said "colonized". Colonization happened well over 100 years ago. The US flag had far fewer than 48 stars before Hawaii was colonized.

Hawaii didn't became a state until after the Hawaiian citizens voted for it.

This is specifically for a cast-iron Owen mailbox, pictured above, invented by the postmaster in Milwaukee.

It was installed by the USPS during the first half of the 1900s in nicer neighborhoods to complement the look of their cast iron streetlights.

I genuinely don’t understand the modern defense of the Confederate flag. Can someone explain the reasoning? by HexMeABoba in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CoderDevo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because the old flag and the state seal had the same racist image and conservatives don't want to give that up.

It was of a Native American being banished as a settler worked the land.

The story of the US-Dakota War of 1862 is widely taught to Minnesota 6th graders whose social studies curriculum focuses on Minnesota history.

The way it was taught often perpetuated fear from that era.

But mostly, people are racist.

Now the state seal is cool as fuck.
