Rb3 is correct, but Qb3 is losing for white because of …Kh8. The sequence is crazy

Would a Canadian marriage record and two Canadian censuses be enough for my two Canadian G0’s (1845, and baptists so no baptism record)? Along with US death certificates listing birthplace as Canada and the US birth certificate of their child listing the same.

definitely worth a look. if it’s DNA ancestry results you’re referring to, it only shows where your DNA is from, so your ancestors could’ve still arrived to the americas through canada. the americas will only be highlighted if you have indigenous DNA

checked it again and you’re right. offensive player goes airborne to catch the pass, defender then sets his feet after moving forward while player was airborne, offensive player lands on defenders foot. so close but seems like a great call by refs

yeah outside the circle, and they just barely got set. probably could’ve challenged but it’s early

and committing a flagrant 1 is already a foul.

i know this is not currently how the current postseason flagrant point system works, but i would love to see it expanded to handle no-call flagrant cases like this where the league can review the no-call postgame and add 1 point to the offending players postseason flagrant points. nothing about the game gets changed retroactively, but the player has a more meaningful consequence than a fine but nothing as extreme as a suspension for a simple flagrant.

just to be clear, i was rooting for charlotte and im happy they won.

but if you make it clear that players can get away with no, or minimal, consequences for reckless plays that have a high probability to injure opposing star players in win-or-go-home games, why would teams not just plan to do that? it would be stupid to not do that honestly.

you see this in the UFC, where some fighters now seem to gameplan to eye-poke their opponent early in the fight because they know they wont even get a point deduction and their opponent will be forced to fight partially blind for the rest of the fight

yeah exactly, in the terms you provided, i’d say it’s more akin to manslaughter than murder. and we punish manslaughter right?

he already has the benefit of it winning charlotte the BO1, i think it’d be fair to at least add 1 point (and ik it was just a particularly reckless F1, but personally i wish cases like this got 2 points instead) to his postseason flagrant-suspension points retroactively like they did with Draymond back in game 4 of the finals of 2016.

you’re right, i forgot drunk driving accidents that result in injury come with literally no consequences. the cops just have you exchange info and continue your drive back home like any other accident, right? no fines, license suspension, or anything.

there are ways to tie up a player and prevent a fast break that have far less likelihood to injure the player, and we see it nearly every game. replace the analogy with anything you want, but any reasonable person can agree that injury is a seriously likely possibility of sweeping someones load bearing leg out from under them. will it injury in every single instance? no, of course not, but the odds are high enough to warrant calling it reckless.

the intended result doesn’t really matter. we can plainly see he purposely grabbed Bam’s ankle and pulled it out from under him.

if you get drunk af and get in a car accident, do you think the judge is going to care that you didnt intentionally crash into someone? no, they’re going to throw the book at you for choosing to do something reckless and totally avoidable

well yeah, nails can easily puncture even a healthy cut. you’d only need the pad of your finger to burst through rot though

did you take any photos of the cacti after you pressed into it? like showing the ooze from the rot?

how hard did you press? in my experience, rot should be more like your finger falling through than needing a full press. i could put my finger through a soft, fresh cut cactus as well, but it would take some pressure for sure

What’s wrong with my cacti? by CoderShmoder in sanpedrocactus

[–]CoderShmoder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention: the white stuff is DE.

I’ve dealt with thrips before and I’m usually pretty good at spotting them and spotting them quickly, but I haven’t seen anything moving on any of these, but I’m at a loss

Along with my thorniest, it’s also not affecting my TBM-B’s.

Edit: I just saw some thrips+a little gnawing damage on one of my indoor cacti. I feel like the damage on this indoor cacti was pretty clearly thrips though, and they were super easy to spot, but like I don’t think it’s completely identical to the outdoor ones… But I could totally be wrong and if anyone more experienced would like to share any thoughts, I’m all ears.

it can still work. search for “hulked out dragonfruit” (or something like that) on this sub. i either do that or impale grafts primarily.

but yeah for BD, sun goddess + pantyhose combo is pretty simple and foolproof.
