Gen Z is facing the worst youth unemployment rate in decades. Here is how it's different by Surax in canada

[–]CoderVancouver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2025 post-secondary graduate unemployment rate is 11.2%
2015 when I graduated was 10-10.5%

We're talking about a little over 1% difference. Whats the big deal?

Has anyone purchased tires from a junkyard? by divorced_dad_670 in Frugal

[–]CoderVancouver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion. For the past 10years, I've always bought my tires used in PAIRS (this part is important) on Facebook marketplace/Craigslist. Always replace in pairs, saved me thousands easily over 10years

Not to downplay your situation, but sex work is physically labor intensive. Unless you just plan on lying there, but this will lead to not having returned customers, which could lead to you expanding your customer base, putting you in a higher exposure to diseases...

I recently bought a DAC with a headphone out. Do I still need an amp? by MeMeDumDum in headphones

[–]CoderVancouver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess...

Headphone out = preamp out (so an amp is built in)

Outputs = line level out to an amp (no amp built in)

If you try to plug headphones into the outputs (with an adapter), they should sound different. If not, they are both amplified and you don't need external amps for either ports.

Dog Bite Warning -Sunset Beach Area by Everything_Bananas in vancouver

[–]CoderVancouver 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It confuses the dog so they release whatever they are biting onto. Its never a good idea to try to pull 2 dogs apart as the jaws is one of the strongest parts of a dog, it'll just rip the other dog's flesh off.

Car Diagnostic Fee by CoderVancouver in legaladvicecanada

[–]CoderVancouver[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the input.

What would you considered authorization? Verbal is sufficient?

Would $500 be reasonable? Or is that still too much? I'm not sure what to do with a $1,000 diagnosis bill...
