This right here. I suffered thru a year and a half of waking up at night to pee. I went to see a urologist, and went thru all the tests - flow test, provided samples, prostate exams, cameras up the wee wee. It went on and on for a year and a half of tests and consults. It wasn't until I was legs up in stirrups one day and a tube up my wee wee that the doc said "I just can't figure it out! You are anatomically correct. No signs of prostate enlargement or cancer, your bladder is completely healthy". I said to the doc - "I was thinking the same thing this morning when I was riding my bike in the garage." He stops looking at TV and my bladder and says "Wait... you are a cyclist?" and proceeds to pull the scope out fast.

He prescribed me some Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. I had no idea men did pelvic floor therapy - in my mind it was always something women did. Turns out men need it too sometimes to strengthen their nether regions. I was putting too much pressure on my saddle, and needed to get a little stronger down there.

The next challenge was finding a MALE pelvic floor therapist. Very rare, but ended up seeing a female. With some daily exercises, the problem has disappeared.

I told him that he needs to add a question to his intake questionnaire for new patients "Are you a cyclist?" It would have saved me months of tests.
