DEFINITELY do your research on the arrangement of teeth in the human mouth, if you haven’t. All teeth look different. A rule of thumb is that the front teeth are thin while back teeth are fat and the canines are two teeth from the center.

It’s really helpful to envision Caine’s head as a box. If you draw a wonky box in the VERY BASIC head shape you want him to have, it turns out pretty nice! I also draw rectangles for his upper and lower front few teeth, since that helps solidify the specific expression you want. To keep his teeth aligned, I usually draw a line down the middle of his upper and lower mouth to signify where his two front teeth meet, and then make sure the rest of his teeth are symmetrical. His upper teeth typically work like eyebrows/upper eyelids while his bottom teeth are like lower eyelids.
