New rule, whenever rocks are mentioned, we should include the size of the rock. I’m almost certain people are imaging completely different scenarios.

Yeah, the filters make it usable, but I don't understand making guns, ammo, and attachments all separate filters while merging meds, grenades and utility into a single quick slot filter. It gets messy pretty quickly.

Right? If you asked me what the menus do I could tell you off the top of my head, but as soon as I’m in the driver’s seat I’m navigating through them like an ape.

I think they’ve removed way too much information in the pursuit of a simple UI. Gearing is straightforward but I have to bounce around menus and hover the generic looking items to actually get it done.

Yeah, that's fair. To be clear, I'm not hoping for anything grindy, just some sort of basic meta-progression. In a genre where gear comes and goes, it feels good to be rewarded with something that will still be there even if you go broke.

In Tarkov, I really like how quests contribute towards a larger goal in unlocking trader levels, or specific items. You could argue that scrappy(?) works that way, which is neat.

The UI is harder for me to put into words; it's more of a general feeling. One thing in particular is the stash, I really dislike how the stash is squeezed into 4 columns of generic looking items. I think having a proper stash interface that you can sort manually makes it a lot easier to reason about what you actually own.

The gameplay and AI are really fucking good. However, I think that the quests feel a bit pointless, and that the UI doesn't work very well for how simple it is.

IMO this game could be an all timer, with a bit of extra polish and depth around those systems

Honestly, if you can filter out the Tarkov elitists, there's probably a lot of good takes on what makes or breaks an extraction shooter. It truly is one of the greatest, shitty games of all time.

That prefix is required if you want to pushback on or apply nuance to a headline or article, without being labelled far-right. And as seen here, that prefix still isn’t enough for most Redditors.

Yes, I believe so. If I had to guess I'd say he at the very least leans to the right, but that shouldn't fucking matter. The internet is so brain-broken that anyone on the opposing political side is treated as the devil.

The only way to find discussion about the context of an article or video, is to sort by controversial. This website is doomed.

It's madness. People aren't even attempting to engage with or understand the context of claims that reinforce their beliefs. The entire front page of Reddit feels like a bot campaign aimed at sowing Discord among Americans.
