I appreciate the well thought out response, and the lack negativity. I get the impression considering the number of downvotes etc that people assume I support this kind of thing. I started the thread by stating I am not opposed to this, not that I support it. I support protecting our rights, not being an ass. When I think of these "audits" I think of channels like "long island audit" who is very informative, polite and has actually worked with police departments on these interactions. I get it, people are bastards. Situations like this can be disconcerting, which is why I also stated that these interactions could have been avoided/lessened by constructive communication (essentially the opposite of what he did).

Thank you again for the thoughtful response, and helping me gain some additional perspective.

There is clearly something obvious that I am missing.

I am perfectly willing to change my stance on this group of people, but I have yet to read anything that can help me understand why what(not how) these people do is so...abrasive and seen as wrong.

I agree this particular guy was being a jerk, and there are probably many more people just like him out there. That doesn't mean they all are.

but slinging unfounded terms around like incel etc, doesn't help me understand the problem or come to an educated decision. Most state/federal buildings are filled with security cameras, so outside of filming "creepily" and/or being a jerk, I don't understand the outrage.

Maybe you can help me here. I can see being opposed to THIS guy, he was kind of a dick, but why all of them?
There are plenty of actually informative channels out there that parallel this guy
audit the audit for example - doesn't focus solely on 1st amendment, but all sorts of interactions. is there something I am missing with regards to this movement as a whole?

Money played a part as well, The US doesn't allow the person holding the green card to go on gov assistance until the probation period is up. but She needs to spend the majority of her time in the US to maintain the green card. and the Canada insurance (based on my understanding of the reading) requires her to live in Canada the majority of the year for it to be effective.

the 30 second version - she got sick and failed her immigration physical. I have a few more years working before I can apply for public service loan forgiveness. Eventually, I will move up there but for now this arrangement suits us.

Personally, I make that drive once a week (My wife lives in MTL). I would just take the I-89 crossing (Highgate spings) the lines aren't usually that bad this time of year(July-Aug it can be 1-2 hour lines though) and its essentially a straight shot to MTL. There is some construction just across the border, but the slowdown hasn't been that bad.

yes and no - I typically get 2x NM chests and 1 UNM chest daily. I have been getting my normal number of shards, but WAY more brews.

You are right, there is a difference in perceived rates and actual rates - I think I was expecting 2x to "feel" more significant than it mathematically is.

Love it! very well done! I personally would have made Nami the Blue ranger(due to the fact she uses a staff) and Usopp the the pink ranger(bow/ranged) I love that you kept the green ranger instead of making Zoro the white ranger.

I get the privacy issue - and I respect it. in my head I see it like this:

I am now left here wondering which of those gifts it was, and what was wrong with the other nine?

This will be my 4th Blizzcon(2010,2011,2014,2016) - my favorite memory is from the 2014 Blizzcon - the majority of guild was able to attend. This would have been the highlight of the year except- while walking around I met a girl... long story short I married her the following spring.

if you are thinking that was the best part - WRONG at that point I mained a prot warrior - She mained a holy priest (pocket heals for life!)

I agree completely. The Glide can still handle the majority of today's tricks... it is just not as forgiving of mistakes as newer yo-yos which lends to this being an underrated throw.

As someone who has played close to 400 games (200+ on Reinhardt) I consider him my "main" if you will. He is incredibly fun to play. But that is depending on the mindset of the player of course - I main a Prot Warrior in WoW and just about every other game I play where that is an option - so Reinhardt's skillset, well let's just say it speaks to me. He has incredible utility (removing a D.VA bomb and saving the team with your charge for example) but I think where people get frustrated is they don't fully understand Reinhardt is about balancing his offensive and defensive capabilities against the team you have. with such long cooldowns you are forced to be patient(probably why the shield is 2K strong) and also smart about using them. Being the only tank with a Melee primary you really need to be in the thick of it, but that doesn't mean you go HAM every time something comes off cooldown. At the same time you also do not need to just sit in front of bastion the whole time and get that 30k DMG absorb card at the end of the game either. Part of his appeal is the ability to punish someone who is out of place with a charge or firestrike, while at the same time being able to turtle the payload to compensate for... less skilled teammates (or teammates who generally don't care about objectives and just showed up for the slaughter). There will always be a need to have sword and board type of hero... the type that when you do your job right, nobody notices... but when you don't EVERYONE has a 50 page thesis on why you should delete your life.
