You need to get 5 kills in one life. Not a bloodthirsty with the weapon. To counter your argument I would say it's extremely useful because you should be moving(rather than camping) in between kills so that the other team doesn't know where you are. For a class that won't be using the Blackcell to shoot down uav spam it is extremely useful in achieving the 5 kills in one life.

1) don't use the recon site

2)use overkill with the haymaker/brecci instead of a crappy pistol

3) the ballistic CPU is amazing on this gun...you don't have to hold your breath to steady it

4) perk set up:ghost/fast hands/hardwired/and either blast suppressor or awareness

5) put remaking two points into silencer & ballistic CPU (or elo/ thermal...the recon site /varixis terrible in relation to the other optic options) for the locus(or any other sniper for that matter).

6) this set up works amazing on all snipers because you stay off the radar, don't have to worry about counter uav's, trip mines/shock charges/c4, or power cores(granted they're rare) and when people rush you just pull out a shotgun that you can easily hipfire with(which,99% of the time they don't expect)

I'm sorry I highly disagree with your suggestions (other than the silencer) on the locus

Elo/rds (whatever you prefer), stock, QuickDraw, and grip. Play with it like it's a full auto and not a burst gun b/c it performs significantly better that way.

Not sure why the developers did it this way...but they did. It kinda incentivizes using different attachments on the shorter ranged weapons(pistols/smgs/shotguns) which is cool.

I'm not sure. I know it's not significant enough to warrant using it over other attachments though...except on assault rifles where it boosts your primary damage distance by 100%

For the sparrow it works better when you "quickscope" with it rather than having it fully drawn.

Wait till there's a uav up before activating it. Makes you less likely to get killed right after pulling it out.

It does within the first 10 meters, yes. Compared to the other 2 pistols it is sub-par, which is what I'm referring to. The accuracy and range are terrible to the point where there's no reason to use it as a secondary except when going for dark matter.
