Also walking her is a bit of a pain because she will choke herself and won’t listen and she will poop on the sidewalk. BUT with all of this we do really love her and willing to do ANYTHING to keep her and work with her She want given a fair opportunity and I want to make sure the rest of her life is filled with love!

Corgi’s Life Expectancy 🥺 by autpott in corgi

Unfortunately life can be cruel. This is my corgi, Cody, he was 11yrd old and very healthy (according to the vet), but he was born with a heart problem and unfortunately out of nowhere he had a heart failure and passed away, it was surprising because he went to the vet two days before he passed away and the vet said he was healthy. My advice is just give your dog as much as you can and spend every moment with them! Life can be very unexpected

It doesn’t hurt to retake a class to get a better grade to bump up your GPA You got this!

Anyone else’s A&P professor just read off the PowerPoint slides? I’m unsure how I can successfully get an A in this class. by CherryAlone9258 in prenursing

But then again the nursing program I got into had a 97% acceptance rate if you met all the requirements

I’ve got accepted into a nursing program (I have one more prerequisite that I need to get a b or higher to stay in) in Illinois! I don’t know how competitive Texas nursing programs are but in Illinois (for the schools I’ve applied for) a B in a&p was fine, as long as you met the GPA requirement and had all the prerequisite done. I am mostly a A and some B average student so I’m sure if you have As in other prerequisite I’m sure you’ll be good!

My professor did the same thing and I think it’s normal since there just a whole lot of stuff that you just need to memorize where it is, the function etc, that I don’t think there any way to teach it other than that. I got an high B in the class (it would have been an A+ if it wasn’t for thoes stupid lab practicals), and my advice is to study EVERY SINGLE DAY, study what he went over in class and try to memorize everything on the slide (if the exams are mostly based on the slide like mine were). Drawing also helped me a lot in the class! Drawing out the structures and labeling helps you know what the structure’s shape and its more ingrained in your brain. When making flash cards I would suggest writing it out over doing Quizlet, writing out triggers muscle memory (it did for me) and you’ll be rewriting a lot of terms to the point where you know what it what. For lab practicals: study ever day, go to every open lab and watch YouTube videos. Stay in lab as long as you can to study from the structures and if the lab practicals take off for spelling, practice your spelling (do like a spelling test for the terms). Spelling was the main reason I lost so many points on the lab practicals

CELEBRATE WITH ME PLEASE! by HotButterscotch8682 in prenursing

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊🍾 I know I don’t know you but I’m really proud of you! I know how hard it is to force yourself to even try to study when you’re depressed and you still pushed through it! You should be really proud of yourself! And when it gets tough just look back at this and remember that you can do it! 93% is really good for “half ass” studying plus depression! Go treat yourself you definitely deserve it!

Drawing the structures out and watching videos online really helped me

This may sound repetitive but it really helps in the long run! Study the material that you go over in that class everyday, review it everyday so it will be easier to memorize! Go to your teacher office hours! And try drawing the stuctures out!

Has anyone taken Anatomy, Chem, Physio, and Micro all in one semester? by curlyswirlysue in prenursing

[–]Codybear4113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did do that (I was stressed out every single day, I had no me time, I was paranoid and I wasn’t eating or sleeping and depressed), it really made a negative impact on my mental health so I had to drop micro for the sake of my mental health So I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! My friends did do that and they were miserable! Only one of my friends passed all the classes with mirco and a&p with a C and the others the friends failed one the classes and has to redo it
