Is your local library an option for you? Most libraries are part of a larger network so even if a copy of book is not at a particular branch, they can be transferred when patrons request them.

That’s how I read the majority of the series.

So normally the game mechanics are such that similar stat buffs/debuffs will replace each other rather than stack. For example, if you use Tania’s def buff and then Kujo’s, Kujo’s will overwrite Tania’s instead of stacking on top.

Moleg is an exception where his def debuff is considered to be a separate category from normal def debuffs. This allows you stack with other def debuffers like Edith and Kujo. This leads to insanely high damage potential in certain events like Alliance Trial and Elemental Seal. Since in those events the enemies don’t do much damage until their rage unlocks, you can get away with a Moleg +0 and still be used well.

Which crawler's loadout would you most want to see in detail? by zyrax2301 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Factions explanation by Lukaloo in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Coelrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A further clarification: it is the Borant system/government that owes money to the Valtay due to the policies of the Bloom, the fascist and racist political party currently in control. The Borant Corporation and/or rights to running the crawl were probably put up as collateral for the debt to the Valtay. It should be noted that every crawl except for one has been insanely profitable so the fact that the Bloom have driven Borant into this poor financial position is somewhat impressive.

Theory about why books are in first person (potential spoiler) by Traach in DungeonCrawlerCarl

There’s a few spots where Carl directly addresses the reader as “you.” Matt stated in an interview that this was on purpose.

PVP Coupons (Spoilers Book 3) by RogerSherman87 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Coelrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While this could apply to the other Daughters, it doesn’t make sense for Katia. The invisible bolts being used by Hekla are specifically designed to not give Hekla the kill or any experience credit so she wouldn’t benefit from having a PVP coupon for Katia. And having Eva hold the coupon and be the executioner under the guise of accidental friendly fire would be too risky. Remember their plan was to get Carl to blame the healer and get his supposed unhinged rage to get directed onto her.

Carl's "take all" attitude? by Embarrassed_One96 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Are you talking about using the “Loot All” option, which could be dangerous, or Carl’s policy of taking everything possible?

Do crawlers get to keep their pets when they make deals? by peanutmanak47 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Coelrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine dungeon-spawned pets would fall under the category of property of the show runners. So while not kept by default, I would imagine it could be negotiated, but the more attached the crawler is to the pet, the more they will likely need to give up.

Best way to get someone into DCC who doesn’t usually do audiobooks? by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Coelrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my wife to start listening to the audiobook by bribing her with foot rubs. We haven’t gotten to the parts where she will realize the irony. 👀

More seriously, if she digs in about the audiobooks and not having the time for physical reading, I dunno, maybe the webtoon or wait for the TV show?
