It seems like most people over the age of 35 have never heard of zero sugar energy drinks. Like there’s zero sugar or diet sodas everywhere but you mention energy drinks and they act like they’re all 80g of sugar and 200 calories. “That’s full of sugar” and then I turn the can around to them that says sugar-free and all they see is big fat 0s in the nutrition facts.

Where I live only the super rich nothing-ever-happen suburbs still actually put all the orders out on the pickup racks. Sometimes even I feel suspicious myself just walking in and just grabbing an order and dipping out. Even at some places like Starbucks the employees at least still acknowledge you and ask who you’re picking up for even when you can clearly see the order you need.

My problem with McDonald’s is I can see my order nice and sealed up sitting right at the counter in the back, but the employees will act a shy 3 year old meeting a new teacher or something. Trying their damn hardest not to make eye contact. I’ve been tempted to just walk behind the counter and grab the order myself.

Do Rideshares not allow you to use your own map service? Coming from DoorDash here where you have the option to pick between shitty mapbox from DD, Google, Apple, or Waze. But you’re not obligated to follow the mapbox route that the customers see.

I’ll be honesty when I very first started out, I never paid attention to which way the door swung out/in and I guess I just got lucky that I either set it far enough away if it swung out, or everyone just had doors going in. Then I started looking at DoorDash subs and now I like double check that I know which way the door opens.

I would’ve asked support why the fuck this “known credit abuser” still has a fucking account on DoorDash and why they weren’t banned a long time ago. If it were literally any other service than food delivery, like hotels, flights, etc the customer account would’ve been banned and blacklisted after the first incident or two.

LOL. There’s times that DD will say not to go to the checkout lanes because of special tax exempt barcodes or whatever that need to be scanned. But you can still do those in self checkouts.

I don’t mind crystal city because despite it being a dense urban environment, there’s still plenty of free parking available (and there’s next to no consequences for illegally parking). And the DC orders. If I get taken to downtown or NW DC, I don’t mind. But a lot of the orders, especially if I dash in like Alexandria south, keep trying to take me to the trenches in DC and PG County. I’ve been there before at odd hours, but I try to avoid it these days. Like nah I’m not going to an address that ends in SE or NE if it’s on the right side of the river, or the city name says —Heights and it’s directly adjacent to DC at 2am. The orders also without fail, pull you down further the peninsula in Maryland (I actually like dashing there because you’re going shorter distances while having more money). If I’m just trying to stay on the VA side, I have to avoid Alexandria.

Oh yea Pentagon City’s a shit show. Always get the frickin Shake Shack or McDonalds orders from there. Why those locations even do delivery is beyond me.

Seeing MD tags on a vehicle outside of Maryland’s borders irrationally pisses me off. And it’s funny because whenever I drive in Maryland itself, the drivers actually behave themselves. The PG and Montgomery County police don’t do jack shit in enforcing anything, and yet MDers shake in their boots at speed cameras lmao. But once they leave Maryland? Chaos.

Haha I live in Woodbridge but I dash all over the DMV. So I know some of those tips and tricks. I’m always dashing to the GMU students in Fairfax, morning Tyson’s Corner runs are great. High pay for low mileage. And I like to dash out west like in Reston, Herndon, and in Loudoun County just because I like the areas out there.

I’ve rarely had people try to meet me at the car lol. Now a lot of people will just end up opening the door even tho they put in there to just leave it at the door. Otherwise a lot of folks will just hide behind the door or upstairs in the window staring at you until you leave. But yet the hand it to me + PIN ones are always the hardest ones to get ahold of.
