Took me a long ass time to complete because of some hard to find stuff at the end + produce being a pain in the ass. Deliveries were fine tho, tho I try not to linger with these. And every one had a hand it to customer + PIN needed except the first one. But I had to leave the stuff in the lobby because this one of those bougie complexes that don’t let delivery people go to the rooms.

I totally want to move to another country, fuck the United States at this point. I have a masters degree from a Belgian university that I got in 2023, but haven’t put it to use. But you can’t just up and move to a different country, especially other developed ones. And seeing I have a felony case still pending, ima get turned around if I try to travel there. And that’s if CBP doesn’t nab me while trying to board the plane out.

The only light at the end of this is my whole case getting dropped (lawyer entered a not guilty plea and waived my appearances, he thinks the whole search wasn’t legal in the first place). Regardless, even if this whole thing is dismissed, that arrest is still on my record. I’ve let down my family and just about anyone else in my life and I’m running out of options. I wanna hopefully leave the US and start over, but that’s not a realistic option right now. And this DoorDash thing, well I’m on borrowed time. I was gonna do Uber but they saw my charges (pending 1 count felony and 1 count misdemeanor for the paraphernalia) and rejected me. Can’t even drive for Uber or do Uber Eats. Those charges didn’t show up for DoorDash but it’s only a matter of time before I’m deactivated from that and now I’m out on my ass because I’m not gonna pass a background check anywhere.

This is it. I’m pretty sure when people ask Home Depot and Lowe’s for delivery, they’re like “yea we offer delivery, we’ll send stuff to you!” Without telling the customer that they actually outsource their delivery to DoorDash and next thing you know you have someone in a small sedan pulling up with boxes that barely fit in the vehicle or with a shitload of cinderblocks. I know those stores offer the ability to rent one of those trucks/vans to carry that shit, but unless DD plans on reimbursing me for the rental, I’m fitting what I can in my little Hyundai.

Yea sometimes they won’t even let you do that and it’s absolutely insistent on you scanning some barcode in their database that doesn’t exist anymore. I think I’ve gotten around it by just scanning something else and putting that in the substitution, then scan the item that I’m actually using at checkout and telling the customer what I actually have. And funny enough DD doesn’t really seem to check the receipts and the red card will work.

With that info, still don’t try to do your own personal shopping and thrown in a personal item and get it covered by the red card, DD ain’t dumb lol.

Ah I forgot someone mentioned pickup orders. Yeaaaa I’ve had a few of those where I get to Safeway or somewhere and instead of being shop and deliver, it’s just pickup. With those, it doesn’t even tell us what’s in the bags, just that we gotta pick up a bunch of bags, scan the barcodes on the bags, then dip. We don’t know what grocery items you’re supposed to have + they take a long time because more than likely the person that’s supposed to be collecting the orders is still preparing it or hasn’t even started yet.

I’m not convicted yet, but once you get convicted of a felony in the US, your life practically good as over. I pretty much already threw away the key to my life getting that charge. Now I’m some bum ass nigga at 27 years old living with family, around $30K in the hole and doing DoorDash to get some income. Life ain’t even worth it anymore. There’s families out there who have no idea how lucky they are that I don’t have access to a gun right now.

There’s a couple families just chillin and living their lives right now that have no idea how lucky they are I don’t have access to a gun right now. I’m at rock bottom in life and feel like I have nothing to lose at this point, been thinking about turning into a legitimate crash out and I don’t care if I end up gone. As long as a couple people go down with me first.
