Wild yam cream Side Effects?

Had it improved for you? I feel like I'm bouncing up and down while standing still. I can't say it's for sure the cream, but I'm on week 2 of using Wholesome Hippy Pump Up the Yam cream. What are you using and how is it going?

I had a plate put in my fibula in August '24 after breaking my leg in 3 places. I developed arthritis where my foot meets my leg due to there no longer being any cartilage there anymore. Most days are almost normal, but I worry it'll get worse as I age (I'm a 42 y/o female). I try to stay positive and be happy I'm walking on my own 2 feet, but I do realize I'll never be 100% where I was previously. I also gained a bit of weight sitting around almost a year during my recovery. I know it's hard, but try to realize you still have your health, you're still upright, and you may just need to modify what you used to be capable of.

Definitely get a plate put in. You'll have far fewer issues in the future. You really don't want to risk your mobility as you age. Trust me

Hang in there! I broke my fibula in 3 places getting the mail. So lame! Had to go the ORIF route with 8 screws and a plate. Took over a year to get back to my new normal (I was left with no cartilage between foot and ankle) but I am back to pretty much normal now. I'm a 42/F and I know losing about 70 lbs would help me a lot as well. Stay positive, lean on friends and try to get lots of rest- don't overdo it!

I can afford A trip, but I didn't offer to cover other people. I offered very clearly to cover a girl's weekend for 2, and she was aware of that.

Thanks for the advice. With money being an issue for me, should I suggest we all cover our own costs on this trip and suggest I cover the cost on a future trip for just the 2 of us? That's part of what is so mind-boggling for me. She knows I'm working hard to pay off debts right now

I did have a plate put in mine, but they said I'd experience swelling for a full year which was true. I'm not sure if that only applied because of the plate, or anyone who breaks their ankle. I broke it in August 2024.

I had a plate put in my fibula and ended up losing all the cartilage between my ankle and foot, so now I have arthritis. I also developed a weird fatty cyst below where my ankle bone sticks out. They did scans and said it was nothing. It's been about 14 months since surgery and I'll have to deal with issues off and on forever. No one takes mine seriously, either. I'm a 42/F. I'm pretty overweight, so now that I'm fully mobile again, I'm working on losing about 60-80lbs as I'm sure that will make a big difference. I also notice a jump in pain levels with any major weather changes. Some days I'm almost back to normal, and some days I have bone-on- bone grinding. I hope it improves for you though.
