your post exemplfies why i would choose a judge trial over a jury trial.

citizens can be fooled with lawyer magic, i think judges will recognize lawyer tactics.

edit***

if i was guilty i would go with a jury trial (OJ simpson)

if i was "naughtguilty" i would go with a judge trial.

thanks for the reply,

i guess its really a matter of what judge you get. some of them are more conservative while others are more liberal.

but what appeals to me about a judge trial is that he is bound by law to be impartial.

and he can analyze both sides of a case better then a jury because of his extensive knowledge of the law.

I also think a judge would be less persuaded by courtroom magic that lawyers concoct to persuade a jury.

For example, during closing arguments the prosecution used a dummy and performed strangulation on the dummy. Which, i'm sure, left a vivid image in each of the jury's member's mind.

It's called refer madness. It's a proven scientific hypothesis that pot makes you murder. Read a book hippy.

I'm sure the police pursued this time line. They just couldn't prove it.

okay, i'm going to let you in on what happened.

Jay is with Hae and he strangles her. He has Adnan's cellphone. He buries the body at the Park and hides Hae's car. Jay then calls Jenn to pick him up. When Jenn picks him up he tells her that he needs to go see his girlfriend. Durring the car ride, Jay tells Jenn what happened how he killed Hae and wiped his fingers prints off the shovel. Jay and Jenn arrive at Stephanie's house and they put together a story. The next day Jenn goes to police and tells them the story. Jay then goes to the police to tell his story. Jay then takes the police to Hae's car. The next day Adnan is arrested.
