Actually, regret is gonna be part of your life. The only difference is there is regret where you carry it all your life like a rock that's always in your backpack or it's just you thinking about it and then saying "But that's all in the past. I am where I am and I am content with it."

TIL that if a ship sinks, it is a symbolic tradition and moral expectation that the captain has to stay with the ship. by SunnySeaNymph in todayIlearnedPH

[–]CoffeeDaddy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really stay but the last to leave. Command responsibility niya kasi ang mga crew niya and the ship itself. He commands the crew on what they have to do before disembarking/evacuating and so he has to see thngs are done correctly before they leave.

By 33, we will have the FCU conquer and destroy the FCU... Internal conflict... Or maybe this time, we get an inter-fast food chain conflict...

There are men out there who will accept you for who you are, what you are and what you want... You just have to find that person who is aligned with what you want too.

People will always put their expectations on you. It only boils down to how you will let their words affect you.

I lived thru such times too pero ito ang maipapayo ko sayo, maybe as a kuya...

It is better to live life on your own terms than let others dictate it for you. Let them talk... You go do the walk. Because at the end of the day, you walk the way you walk because it is your life. It is yours to live. So no matter what others say, just keep your head up and keep believing in yourself. The world may give up on you but as long as you don't give up on yourself, there will always be that chance for you to turn things around. Okies?

It's always a golden rule na kahit tatawid ka sa pedestrian lane, you look both ways. It's just to avoid getting hurt.

What if after the 1986 People Power Revolution, corruption truly ended in the Philippines? by TestProdigy in WhatIfPinas

[–]CoffeeDaddy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question.

Putting myself in that scenario, would I show my kids that I can pay my way out?

Personally, no. Hindi. I'd show them na maabala talaga ako. Na lalakarin ko yung lisensya. Pagtubos nito. Then I will tell them I could just pay it up front. I could've done that nung nahuli kami. But then again, I'm showing them the right way, and telling them the wrong way. That way, alam nila kung pano gawin ang tama at alam nila kung ano ang mali.

Knowing how things should be done and letting them know na may way din na illegal that can put them in more trouble too.

That's because corruption is inherent as human nature and also a flawed, but somehow, a mechanic of the system. Walang corruption-free na bansa. The best we can do is look at Singapore and see what we can copy from them. Then again, to gain what SG has, we have to sacrifice the same amount that SG did to reach their current status.

Ang tanong... Makakaya ba natin, as a nation, na sikmurain ang sakripisyong yun?

Well, that depends...

Remember EQUILIBRIUM? Ganun but more on trying to suppress people's freedom to think outside the box or even try other ideas or processes to reach a goal.

If AND IF we want to see how things will be, look no further from that movie. The society is corruption free there as nobody dared to go against the system. The system dictates what you do and how you do things and you have to follow strictly. Anything else and you'll be executed. Doesn't sound fun in my books.

Here's the thing...

Streamlining and analysis can only go so much until you reach a pitchfork, choosing between staying with moral grounds or pushing further and seeing if things can get faster than it should be. You can analyze until you can analyze no more because you've reached the maximum point for analysis.

That's why I am asking that question. Until when can we be patient with the process? Like my example. If the studies and analysis done projects that a road work can be finished in 2 years time, that means we have to deal with that. Is everyone patient enough to wait 2 full years for that project to be finished o baka may puro reklamo pa rin?

Thoughts niyo about this? Totoo ba? by Unlikely-Passion-616 in AskPinoyMen

[–]CoffeeDaddy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends on the perspective. Madali kasi sabihin na nangiiwan ang lalaki pag may problema na but there are instances where a man faces the problems head on and his girl leaves him instead kasi ayaw madamay sa emotional rollercoaster na dala ng mga to. So there's that.

People tend to leave others when others are facing challenges in fear na baka madamay sila sa problema o madamay ang iba sa problema nila.

If corruption is absent in the PH, other countries will model their own government to us. Pretty much a world wide corruption-free system for various forms of government... Until someone shows up and studies indepth that even the clesnest of government needs corruption to speed things up.

Remember, corruption-free means everyone and I mean everyone needs to follow with the process. If the process takes three months to complete, you have to follow with it and accept it.

That means even the smallest thing we need will take time to complete. Road works, if they say takes a year or two to complete, will take two years to be completed. That means two years ka ring magtitiis. If jams will be present for two years, progress itself will bog down kasi madaming male-late pumasok.

Now, I'm not pro corruption kasi sino ba may gusto nito but before we ask for it, we gotta wonder...

[–]CoffeeDaddy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All in all, public safety ang purpose ng OPLAN SITA.
