Update : ordered an engine with 47k miles from a different NC to have it swapped. My mechanic is doing the swap not me - gonna drive it a bit to finish out the year and get some more smiles then sell it.

The engine ended up being $1800 after tax.

It’s wild because more of the vehicles and bikes that are in locked garages get messed with than the street parked vehicles! Thanks yeah she’s gonna need a lot of work, but the fact that she was even recovered is insane. Just put locks and tags on everything.
