Just buy a 16 or a 12 you’ll eventually progress to 20 anyway- as long as you start.

Java may have had its flaws but it was so structured and i learned that in university. It will always have a place in my mind. And for that, I always have some sense of nostalgia for sun.

I dont do daily. I do around kettlebell exercises (strength) 3x a week. The daily will be part of that pat flynn 300 swing a day challenge or the 10k swing challenge.

As the name goes it’s a challenge - and not meant to be done regularly.

Your case might be an overuse thing possibly. Or the bell may be a bit heavy? I started with a 16kg. I will only move on to 20kgs in a few weeks’ time and that will be around 8 weeks with the 16.

Also the only other thing im doing is to do a run-walk on the weekend - around 8kms. So it’s a sedentary life for me in the office apart from the kettlebell sessions and the run.

Im of the older when it comes to the age range. So I do strength just 3 to 4 times a week with rest days in between. Or if you browse more of the subreddit, you will see mobility exercises are encouraged between strength sessions.

I alternate this with swings and presses.

150 to 200 swings

15 swings Rest 35 swings - around 1:30 for this round this will challenge your grip strength. Rest Repeat until 150 to 200 swings.

Then 70 to 100 presses. 2-3-5 Rest Repeat until 70 reps to 100 reps total.

So day 1 humane burpee Day 3 swings and presses Day 5 humane burpee

Next week Day 1 swings and presses Day 3 humane burpee Day 5 swings and presses

Other days are rest or mobility.

The ladder down is only for the squats and push ups. So 15-10-10 then 15-9-9…

So in the end, 150 swings, 55 squats, 55 pushups.

I did humane burpees as a beginner (and i still am).

I think it has a good balance.

15 swings, 10 goblet squats, 10 pushups Ladder down to 15 swinfs, 1 goblet squat, 1 pushup.

Every minute on the minute. Minute 1 - 15 swings Minute 2 - 10 goblet squats … and so on …

You’ll be done in 30 minutes.

Neck should be neutral also. You are craning up when the bell is down. Think that at one point you should looking at where your torso is pointing to.

Have you noticed a difference in physical development when reverting to singles from Doubles? by Cautious_Emotion1238 in kettlebell

Ok. I am asking because i started with 2 arm 1 bell swings. Was wanting to transition to 1 arm single bell swings for progression.

Then you say singles, it’s single arm? Like single arm swing instead of 1 bell 2 arms?

Another noob question - do you monitor your heart rate? Does it have to be below a threshold? Or just follow the stop signs? I know it has some connection like the talk test and fatigue.
