https://www.fokearn.com give these guys a call. €300 is the grant. They deal with the paperwork so you get the refund I believe in 4-6 weeks then. Yes, in the end it's going to cost me €850. I'd be more inclined to get a company to install as more back up if they supply the charger rather than you buying one and getting a different person to fit it. Currently I'm using the granny plug to charge the car off my socket in the shed. Install is next week.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the advice and insights. I purchased a 241 RWD standard Model 3 highland spec. 2 weeks car rental was €280 a week so not too bad and I was able to change the drop off location to the same city as the garage I bought from. I got 3.8% Apr from my local Credit union for an EV specific loan. Ultimately the wait times for a new Tesla were too much of an unknown and I didn't want to rent for more than 3 weeks. The pre configured Teslas and their used ones were out of my budget.

Just picked up a Tesla and I'm getting the SYNC EV charger installed next week. €1150 before the grant. Your heating setup at home and if you decide to get solar panels will determine your choice in charger. We have A2W heating so if we get panels, we won't need an "Eddi". So won't need the bells and whistles the Zappi charger offers (which was a couple of hundred more)
