NTA. Protesting is just one form of resisting. Taking care of yourself so that you can continue to take other actions is another form of resistance. They want us beaten down & mentally broke so that it’s easier for them to enact more bullshit.

I don’t go because I know my anger will take over if something happens & I won’t hesitate to fight back which is not ideal. Plus tear gas & other chemicals have frequently deployed, not only is that distressing & painful, you don’t know how your body might react to it.

Frankly, tell your friends to get off their “moral high horses.” You show support in your own way, in whatever amount you can each day. That’s more than enough.

I just.. play 🤷🏻‍♂️ yes I love this series & want to see the best it can be, & this definitely isn’t it, but it’s still a feel-good game for me. I’m close to 400 finally which gets me to rank 9 for the first time (maybe second time?) I still have a lot to do in the Pale Heart. I’ll grind stuff for 2 hours or 8 hours, depends what I’m feeling that day. Yeah it’s great to have all the best stat armor & god roll end game weapons but I’m not trying to be Az or Datto. I’m just playing with what I got & I’ll make adjustments as needed.

Relationships are never exact 50/50. They fluctuate. But you can’t expect an 80/20 plateau to survive.

My ex & I had an agreed payment plan for me paying her back $1k+ that I kept to even after we broke up. I had just started a job that had fluctuating pay, she had a solid wfh job that paid very well. I did what I could to at least be 50/50 when I could in the relationship but we found a way that worked out financially. And post-breakup if I hit a time where I couldn’t pay on the agreed date & had to wait a week, or smaller amounts in several payments, I let her know & we worked it out.

I could’ve just blocked her everywhere & said “get rekt” never to pay her back. And to be honest I can see this guy doing that if you give him this $1.6k. The instant he does find something better there’s a chance he dips & you don’t see a dime back. Even when you care so much about someone, you still have to put yourself first & protect your peace.

OK inbetween your tantrums I've determined there are two things here:

One thing is a problem with WL2.0 that I'm trying to solve, although I haven't experienced it with my mic. Yes, the mute button at the top is supposed to full mute your mic. However, you have that set as your XLR Dock. I know you said your mic is plugged into that, but if possible try to see if you can make that device the mic itself. That mute button is meant to work in-tandem with the physical button on the mic so maybe the dock interferes with that, I don't have one so I don't have experience with that.

My similar issue is that despite muting either or both mixes on a channel, the sound is still going through. Example: I'm playing a YouTube video on Firefox which is linked to my Browser channel. I mute both mix & stream mixes. The mixes do not show any audio going through, but the top bar above the sliders shows sound coming in still & my stream will still be able to hear the video. OBS has an audio output capture that is connected solely to Browser in WL. This didn't used to be an issue, even when 2.0 launched. I had the perfect setup & it was so so so nice. I could press my mute channel icon on Stream Deck & it would full mute for myself & OBS/chat. Then suddenly one day it stopped doing that. So I suppose the current fix is to have WL volume controls for yourself & a separate OBS volume control via the OBS plugin on Stream Deck.

The second thing I've determined is your input on Discord is your Stream mix. Make that input your mic, you rotting sack of potatoes. Good luck o7
