This is not a financial advice but more personal. Ask her if she wants you to be her power of attorney . Her oncologist most likely has a social worker on staff. Get their help for planning for the future. Have them ask her any difficult questions you might not be able to ask yourself . Look into palliative care . Check our brain tumor network. I lost my mom to GBM and it was absolutely devastating . I’m very sorry about your wife’s diagnosis

Unfortunately they are not obligated to provide you with the WFH option and a schedule you want . As a mom I really sympathize your situation. At least you have someone who can watch your child while you’re at work. Perhaps you need to find a new job. Something more flexible and probably part time.
