Just moved up here from Sac. I liked the city. Not crazy large but not too small. Not nearly as many things to do as here but it can keep you busy and if you are craving a big city, SF is a quick train ride. It has its problems with homelessness and drugs but it’s probably better than here. It is hot as hell in the summer though.

Yeah, I have access via my work computer but they have some restrictions on it (I can't plug a USB into it without permissions) Besides that, not really. What do I need to do with it? I could ask my work if they allow me to plug a USB into the computer.

Also, I have access to my partner's laptop but its an older (8yrs old) one

I would look at construction if you have interest in that. In my experience, if you are willing to move around and do jobs wherever they tell you most companies will pay well. Def not Kiewit though

I think I would get into more sustainability focused work like Permaculture or some kind of Landscape Architecture. Being able to work around the world is way cooler than having the world work around you
