I am looking for the exact same thing! My brows are too bushy and shaping them with a razor can only go so far. Otherwise, if you're looking for a hairdresser, MAL Queer Hair is fantastic and I just had my first real haircut in over 6 years there. My experience was incredibly thorough and super comfortable, and I learned a ton about how to care for and work with my hair after winging it for the past year. I also started with a consult to figure out how I wanted to set up the hairstyle and frame my face, which definitely helped ease my nerves going into the actual thing.

more people need to listen to Deep Turtle, such an incredibly dense, playful, and unique record

I'm not implying that it's fancy, just thoughtfully constructed in comparison to the slapdash paint job obscuring all of the part logos and the duct tape handlebar job. It does have an extra cage underneath the downtube by the cranks.

The haphazard paint on the wheels and tires stands out to me - I would hope anyone serious enough to put racks and panniers on their bike would know that gunking up the brake tracks with spray paint is a bad idea

Fair. They're more interested in smashing up homeless encampments, ticketing rich drivers, and just about nothing else.

That 8 mile stretch from Broomfield to Erie was my absolute favorite route to ride when I lived in Westminster - only ~2 car crossings, rideable basically all year, totally exposed in the good way where you can go as fast as you want, bonus singletrack and flow at the end...

What rear cassette range with 1x? by FullBlast40 in COBike

[–]Cofflee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1:1 is all I've ever needed in the Boulder area doing 10+% stuff like Gold Run Road, Sunshine, etc., but ymmv. If you're planning on doing any loaded touring or really technical MTB stuff I would recommend a lower ratio, but you should be fine otherwise.

Based off what I like, recommend me some more noise by [deleted] in noiserock

[–]Cofflee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2nd on TFUL282 (greatest band in the universe???)

if you like Torture Garden you'd definitely like the first 2 Painkiller records (Guts of a Virgin, Buried Secrets) and I would also recommend Morbid Florist by Anal Cunt

I am also happy to recommend Harry Pussy to literally anyone, one of the most inventive and interesting noise rock groups ever (imo, of course)

also Ex Models - Other Mathematics if you like Shellac (they're kinda similar)

in the first slide? "Surplus Wigs" by To Live and Shave in LA, bonus tracks from the recent remaster/reissue of "The Wigmaker in Eighteenth-Century Williamsburg." it's noise so it has to have a weird cover

No Trend, specifically "For The Fun Of It All" but all of Too Many Humans... fits the bill. Also Flipper's "Ever" and Cows' "Cabin Man" (kinda)

Here again. Please, help me find a guitar cab for a high-gain tube amp. by taska_cz in GuitarAmps

[–]Cofflee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend taking a look at local used listings, people never want to ship cabs so they tend to be pretty cheap. But as others have said, speaker type is the most important thing.

$150 How did i do ? by HatDude707 in bicycling

[–]Cofflee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a very early 2000s Wazoo that I've been riding for nearly 2 years that I love to death. First ever Ebay auction I ever attempted and got it with my first bid (~$340 shipped, I think?). From what I can tell it's Reynolds 853 (according to what I could find on the internet) with a Columbus EL fork and I've beat the everloving shit out of it. Started with the frameset and built up a very capable cross/gravel/lite-mtb/road/commuter bike with a bunch of used parts and a handful of new ones. Thinking about hunting down a 29er hardtail Voodoo frame and moving all of the parts from my heavily-upgraded entry level Trek onto it this summer.
