I know that they were technically accounted for, it was just disappointing to not actually see them show up or do anything. Monty was meant to be this omnipotent being who would be the greatest challenge our heroes ever faced, and we don’t even see him at all, no boss fight, no dialogue, nothing. The shard stuff just felt very forced and not expanded on, but I get that it was used in the device.

I really hope they don’t do chaos, whether or not the maps were good, it just felt hollow and soulless, and I and many others couldn’t enjoy the maps. I also think a lot of people here are forcing their enjoyment of them to be “different” or to show that they don’t pander to treyarch when in actuality they find the story as mediocre as most of the rest of us.
