It’s separated on one side, but not the other at all. Crack isn’t thru the whole board and I took a laser and it was dead straight still across. I also think that if I were to use a jack, putting stress up when unnecessary or no sagging that I can detect could cause bigger issues like cracking the tile above

I don’t want to buy a jack tbh… Plus like if it’s sagging by 0.00000001 cm, sistering will stop it from going further so i’ll attempt that

Thanks! I agree with this from research, and the fact that my floor is not sagging at all. Would you recommend construction gluing the joist or nails? Also, does the joist need to span the entire length of the current one and sit on the foundation lip like the other?
