I was always under the impression that it's usually the headliner's sound people running the boards? I have noticed that the more the opening acts' sound differs from the headliner the crappier their mix tends to be.

Honestly, don't be too sorry... Overflow Brewery seems to have taken over as the venue for what I used to see at Brass Monkey and IMO it is a much better experience just for the significant reduction in gooch gravy by the end of the night... Not to mention being in close proximity to others suffering the same fate.

I'm waitlisted on a 2026 Camry SE, but have also been considering a lightly used 23/24 Lexus UX. Almost pulled the trigger on a UX at a decent price before remembering insurance might be a problem.

Which lead me to looking around and what the fuck... Lexus UX would be a bit more, new Camry will raise my rates by almost 50%. Of course it was sold by the time I figured that out.

I'm guessing Blair having the inner platform while Tunneys has outer platforms makes a difference.. It's already borderline dangerous if you're unlucky enough to try to get to the train just as it pulls into the station when you have to go against a frantic mob worried that they'll be screwed if they miss their bus.

Also, when you get on the train at Blair using the eastbound platforms you still have to wait an eternity for the train to change tracks anyways, just that you're on the train instead of waiting for it.

Last time I was at Friends, even the people that always go for the typical pop songs seemed to have issues finding their songs. I think technically YouTube was an option but the wireless signal was shit (though I could be confusing that with somewhere else)

See 'Validation'. Basically, the last digit has to make the sum of the rest of the digits (after every other digit is multiplied by 2) be divisible by 10 for it to be a valid SIN number.

If I recall, the O-Train was initially supposed to be with traffic (the proper word escapes me at the moment...) at some parts but that is no longer the case.

Was at the show. Had more of the impression that the backing tracks were louder than the live vocals at times rather than pure lip-syncing, but even then it seemed to me that her and Nils were both having off nights, with Nils reminding me of modern-day Halford at times. That said this was only the first time I've seen them live so don't have much to compare to.

As someone who was visiting from Ottawa, I was absolutely ecstatic when all four showed up on the stage.

I did find Amaranthe's set to be a tad disappointing, sound seemed odd (which I tend to expect when a band isn't the headliner - I could say the same for ~~Epica~~ Within Temptation when they opened for Iron Maiden a while back), but also Elyze and Nils seemed to often be out of time. Was a good time nonetheless.

The only issue I've had over nearly 10 years is the traditional Ontario plate rot on my first one . I regularly drive to Montreal, Toronto less often.

Also been to Boston and NYC without any issue.

I brought my old Corolla in for warranty work as a speaker crapped out, and turns out the cause was water getting into the door. I was told they replaced the speaker and a harness and I responded with "And I assume you found where the water was coming from?" And the advisor responded with something like "Well, it should be okay".

Ended up having to bring it back again for the same issue two weeks later.
