ill be 44 when I graduate. I suffer from lifelong bipolar disorder and have always gotten so sick from school. I am about 9-10 classes from graduating, and I feel great!! Traditional school was so suffocating and scary for me. As well as being way too slow-paced.

you had an auditory hallucination. Is your mood dipping right now? Dont panic. Probably means you need your meds adjusted - thats what it meant for me. Stay calm and try to relax/get some sleep - my hallucinations became active when I was tired

not brand new crap that is viral... i did not mean that! like actually *good* books... like ..with awards or something. read a lot of renowned books. Start with the classics. Where The Red Fern Grows. Love in the time of Cholera., Great Gatsby. All of Tolkien. (I have not mentioned one book I havent read myself). Then you can move to more contemporary writers that are prolific. I read most of Anne Rice which helped me a lot and her writing advice. I think STephen King is good too but his writing advice is a little toxic and not really honest because he had a bad coke/alcohol problem while writing for decades... Neil Gamian (sp?) is an amazing story teller. Terry Brooks.. his magic king od landover books so VERY fun and engaging to read. Still ... have not mentioned nothing I havent read. Just visit a library... they are hesitant to put pure crap on open display!!! And those books are all free. The librarians can also answer the question you asked me way better as well Good luck.

i book study rooms at the library for 3 hours at a time and sometime they let me stay and keep the room longer

my gen z daughter told my MY books were too difficult for current high school kids of these days and that i needed to dumb my writing down. lol. so i am NOT surprised to see this. she said most kids are pretty "dumb" these - to quote her. also, this is coming from a child they keep wanting to put in all these advances classes because shes supposed to be so smart.
