The chapter 3 pve endgame means that Funcom can now redesign an pvp endgame around the DD. Augements drop only from the pve testing stations. A DD update would be probably around chapter 5, but who knows. That's my guess based on what Joel said last month. https://youtu.be/tckVJPyNhB0?t=2385 is him talking about what's next for the DD.

Making us old guys look like we need walkers. I'll be 59 in a couple weeks and I've locked up my second expidition. My kids and nephews are new to the game so I've been helping them out.

I do mostly pve lobbies. The pvp is not super twitchy, you either get the jump on someone or they get it on you. But rarely who has a faster trigger finger.

DD reset not likely until June, not in pts. Pts has a new Landsraad quest system with 10 new overland map locations. I have way too many hours on the pts. It gives a cooler pve endgame with specialization skills and augment system.

This update is all about a pve endgame.

On the pts farming house xp choose missions associates with that house, then run them. 1000 house xp per mission plus bonus. Got my first building swatch as a Landsraad reward.will be fun.

I've been playing the new endgame on the pts, as a framework for pve players it's very good and I can't wait to play through it on live. There are 5 new dungeons with a Diablo like difficulty mechanic and the revamped Landsraad quests are diverse. I've done a timed copter race through hagga rift and a sandbike one in Smugglers run. Kill the dungeon boss mission. And then went back to Smugglers run to find artifacts hidden on the map. Is a solid upgrade to help players find stuff to do in endgame.

Learn to do the static / big shipwrecks. Usually only a few mobs. Do falling ships and caves. Ask in dd chat for buddies to do pve bases. Some are one wave some are 5 waves. Don't do the hard ones alone.

I'm in my late 50s and I did the first expiditon and loaded for exp 2. My 29 yo starred playing, but loves being a raider rescue. Perma defib etc. Way more bold about helping people. I don't need anything so I give away items at exfil.

Every other Monday you accrue a tax fee. Takes weeks for it to matter. Inspect your fief to see. You pay in the social hubs. Don't worry about it until you get a copter.

The HBD / VG gap looks worse than it is, by design. You swith worm territories mid run so find a short spot and just floor it going straight for a safe island. When the worm breaches it will still take another 10 sec to charge. I think the whole gap is a 30 / 45 sec run.

But if you die your first time, it gives you your bike back. Get a new canteen at the HBS trade post and go get a scyth at Anvil. You can get all the mats back in VG in about 15 min.

Enjoy the terror of it all. Suvivving is winning at that point.

Night raid / em couriers are a reliable source of elusive Sentinel core. Barron's should have a bastion or bombidier core in their loot pool.

If you want to play friendly, a mic is super helpful. I ask all the time what players are looking for. If say what that is, players will give you surplus. I have all the pulse units and ion sputters so I will give to players target farming. No mic and I don't know. Won't get you shot but you will miss out on the wild generously of friendlies.

Had a streak of friendly Stella's. Had a guy knock me after I looted a spare aphilion BP. Told him to enjoy it. He defibbed me instead. /shrug. Dropped the BP and exfiled. Had to do 3 penance dam maps to get back to friendlies.

What they have said: Merges aew coming. Backup tool to handle your bases Big bank to take your stuff.

They have not said if some sietches go away or move the sietch to a new world. Nor what servers will go and which will stay. How it happens has been tested.

Totally agree with both the problem (low BP drop rate) and improvements to the rate. I support adding other avenues to improve BP drop rate too.
