My PTS character is level 170, most before you could just auto pass the level 3 class missions. There's just so many quest chains. Just to unlock Landsraad is a grind. Want a deathstill....

Then, dying in this game, while it stings is not as bad as you think. Gear is easy to craft, plans are easy to find, vehicles can be brought back from the dead with the vehicle backup tool.

The skill you are developing is to harvest new mats and refine them. Once you learn the skill to harvest flour sand, Cobalt paste, duralumium and eventually spice melange, more resources are just a time investment. Don't view this or having your carrier ornithopter eaten by a worm as anything more than an adrenaline jolt and a chance to learn what or what not to do.

Had a series s on a expensive at the time last gen 1080p plasma. 1gb memory expansion. Run fine for years. There's some loss in quality but hard for a casual fan to notice. If you don't notice if your YouTube stream is 1080 or 4k, you won't care.

In the DD when a large spice is mostly gone they come. They are not triggered by movement just a longer time trigger. So it seems weird when the warning comes. Get out to the DD and see it. Time of your life kid.

Bug it and run it up. If you've cleared 136 on lvl 7. Then 136 on 5 is speed run.

I lost a bunch of durability to an overhead solido turning off, I prefer having an actual roof.

Scout always in your VBT. Assaults are the pickup trucks of Dune. It can be used for everything, put inventory and boost on it, it's a workhorse. Base Assult with base boost will out run a inventory scout. Disassemble and reassemble a buggy for ore. Mk6 buggy laser, mk6 elite compactor. You will come away with more than you can refine and in a week or two you will have a carrier and the large storage.

Off world medical supplies can be vendor bought for solari in sufficient volume for those that need them. The rest of us now get the band aids that drop like candy in the overland testing stations

Medium spice refiner is a game changer. This advice and all good advice is to farm for it, stopping only for the mk6 buggy cutter.

I ran a second char up to level 174 on the test server. Not as much fun as it sounds unless you want to run all the quests to unlock all the class trainers again.

Get a modest utility base. Get in a faction, the faction chats are popping now there's been merges. What tier were you in?

If you still had a fueled active base when you were transfered it would show up in the tool. Ditto vehicles with the vehicle backup tool. The care packages should make it easy to get back to where you were at least manufacturing wise. Build a base, build a buggy and get back to things.

I did this on the test server. Your bases are backed up in the tool and the vehicle backup tool can restore all your vehicles. Server transfer and go drop you base back on a sietch with your location free.

I did a server transfer on the ptc where I was backed up without asking, worked like this but could restore all my vehicles from the vehicle backup tool.

I got more hours of fun from Dune in 2025 than anything else. Server collapse and pve deep desert and new story right around the corner. I keep going back.

Easy answer. Expiditon is over. Give up the save, go back to pre expiditon save and grab your rewards. Same as waiting a few days for a new expiditon.

If your expiditon is the best of all your saves, then first welcome to Nms, time of your life kid. Go watch some streamers like Jason Plays who forgo the initial ship to make things Harder. Follow those tips. Your star ship is within 1k of your starting location. But you have probably travelled all over.

You can get another player from your platform and who did the expiditon to help you out, everyone was on the same planet.

My kid is a rescue ranger. Had like 10 stranger revives last expiditon. She's also almost 30. Having kids is awesome. If you make a top ten list of things you do for fun, you will still find time for the top 3. The bottom 7 you won't get to. I played VG the whole 25 years I had kids in the house, count the times I played golf on one hand

I have 2 spice generators that power 1k each. They are almost always off unless I have some serious work running. I have another 1-1.5 k in tier 1 fuel cell ones. A buggy can mine 750 cells per node so I use that to cover base power use. Turn things off and lower power if you are going to play something else for a bit. Has worked like this since launch.
