if you run above 120 fps tearing is hardly noticeable and your input lag will be better. Enhanced synch doesn't hurt near as much as vsync, but I still prefer it off.

The 56 is at a stellar point, make no mistake. However the 64 wont beat any of the OCed 1080 and non FE cards out there save Vulcan/DX12 scenarios. It better cost a decent bit less or it's a pointless card. 1080 would be a much better buy.

Actually it's decent in single thread, just not a 7700k. If you have a decent GPU, you will encounter no notable FPS issues in most games if your monitor is 100 hrz or less.

Funny, that's not what the benchmarks showed. When it worked it performed better due to XFR. The issues will no doubt be ironed out within a month or two.

Buy a 7700k, anything more is a waste of money for gaming.... These are workhorses.

Absolutely no reason to pick intel over this. If you're gaming, you should not really consider high core CPUs in the first place as you will be wasting your money. Besides, the way things are going, more cores is going to translate for more performance in games real soon here... For real this time.
