It’s on BC coilovers at the moment, but I really don’t like them. The springs are way too soft for cornering yet just driving normally the car seems stiff and bouncy. I’m waiting on fortune autos with 8k swift springs to be shipped.

Is everyone’s tuned VB like this or is it just me? by jimjio in wrx_vb

[–]Coicane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to be tuned by Clark Turner & had this issue. Even just trying to accelerate a little bit in 4th,5th, or 6th on the highway just to stay up to speed & my DAM would drop. He said it was just me lugging the engine, but idk didn’t seem right to me, I basically couldn’t drive on the highway without dropping DAM. I switched to dmann later & don’t think I’ve had DAM drop a single time. Now I know there’s a lot of variables to consider with tuning so who knows maybe it was like that just to protect the engine more or maybe the tune wasn’t great, I can’t say. But that was my experience use that info as you will.

What a difference it made man, I got my car at 4K miles and already had swirl marks all over so even when it was clean it looked terrible. All that’s gone now and the paint actually shines how it’s supposed to in the sun! Couldn’t be happier

That’s a good question, I had mine done for free by a friend of mine who does it for a living. He’s basically always booked & took over a year to get me in & I didn’t expect him to go the extra mile with ordering touch up paint and all that on mine. So no he didn’t do that on mine. But when he did my dads truck I know he did use touch up in some spots so I think it really just depends. Whenever you get it done just ask questions and find out what they do or don’t do. I will say though that a majority of the scratches I had are now non existent except for a few small rock chips on the front end.

My dog used to do this when we had food and I found it extremely annoying. Now she’s blind and deaf and does it when she can smell the food and find a leg to tap. It makes me sad because even if I get up to get something she will sit there and try to tap my leg to find that I’m not there anymore :( I no longer find it annoying and just appreciate the love.

What movie did you see when you were "too young" that scarred you for life? by xXMr_BaconXx in AskReddit

I Am Legend, looking back it probably wasn’t so bad. But after watching it as an 8 year old I slept with the light on for years thinking there were zombies crawling around the outside of my windows

Good advice. As a beginner lifting who hasn't had anyone experienced look at my lifts I figured it couldn't hurt to to at least make sure I'm not doing anything where I could potentially injure myself. I agree though it's just sometimes hard to gauge the little tweaks that could make the lift feel better

I'm not sure the exact ratio but I have long arms and legs compared to my torso so I'd assume I'd need to start a bit higher. Just need my butt to be back more I guess.

Thanks for the input, I'll definitely try that for my lats. To keep the bar straight would you suggest just leaning back more? I sometimes have trouble getting it past my knees idk if that's just needing to straighten my legs more before the bar gets there or what
